It would be fascinating to dive deeper into who decided to change these stories and why they turned such terrible events into songs for kids. If we was able to separate our conscience from our heads we could send ship's across the galaxy and universe with body cloning machines and we could then travel at light speed anywhere.. because we could issue a command to print out a body where we are going and send our mind to be uploaded. Then when you want to go somewhere else you upload your mind and destroy the clone and forward your mind to the next location to be uploaded to a new clone. And because you are uploading your mind there is only 1 you with all the memories of each body rather than having many different copies of you where each clone is separate.. that way we can transfer minds at light speed to anywhere you want and because you are no longer mass or a ship of any kind you can travel at light speed.. only once the infrastructure is in place by sending out ships at whatever speed to destinations and the ships can be automated with a cloning machine incase you need to be sent onboard for matintce or something similar.. that's the only way I can see humans or any life traveling around the galaxy or universe.
