good interviewing job and interesting story

One of my friends was hit in the face by a piece of B40 rocket. Lost all of his teeth. Woke up in Japan with 128 stitches in his mouth. He told me this when I met him again in Korea. Before that, I had first met him only one night in a Saigon ladies' establishment where we had to smuggle ourselves back onto the base.

All the wars after WWII are pointless why do we fight the wars of other countries, Afghanistan is so pointless it fuck'up a lot of young peoples mind. PTSD is the #1 killer of all combat Vet.

Wonderful story of personal experience by a man who’d ’been there and done that’. My late cousin Pvt. Warren Gard who served with the U.S. Army 11th Airborne in Korea would have loved this. Warren is interred at the Port Hudson Veterans Cemetery in Zachary, Louisiana…

Ron Aguiar was my history teacher in high school. I will never forget the stories he would tell about Vietnam. We hiked the Appalachian trail together with my dad and friend. He helped me thru some difficult days in my teen years and discipled me when I was born again. He is to this day a good friend and brother in Christ.

As a former combat medic with the 1st Cav and 4th Infantry, I forget many of the details of my time in VN. I think they say it's the 'fog of war'. This man talks with pretty good detail and I'm pretty sure he struggles with trying to remember names, times and places. Great interview.

I knew PJ’s out of Gun Fighter Village Da Nang when I was in the Nam. I was introduced to them by two Ranger’s from P Company 75th but this guy WOW!!

I lived in Hue for 2+ years. Moving to Vietnam in 2019 in order to understand everything I had studied about the war..as a Canadian. I spent a fair amount of time at Hai Van Pass. All of the structures bare the evidence of the attacks. I've walked amongst them all. Still have no words.❤
