The Legend Of Zelda: Ocarina of Time Intro
So it's been a while since the last time I did a video game intro. This time I did the intro for Ocarina of time. I'll never forget the feeling that came over me back in '97, watching Link and Epona gallop over Hyrule field in stunning (at the time) 3D. I tried to replicate that feeling, not sure how well I did. I need to get better at painting. Oh well.

What's this?! Jared Claybrooks uploads TWO videos in one year?! 2020 truly is a strange time. I'm coming in just under the wire on that too. Been a crazy year for like, ya know, the world, so hopefully we can all collectively delete the giant iron pencil statues in our way. Happy New Year everybody.

I think I'm getting the hang of this animation thing. I've been meaning to do this video for a while. I meant to have it done last year for Mother 1's 30th but..... I didn't. Oh well, here's my animated rendition of the original commercial for Mother 1/Earthbound Beginnings.

The title screen of Mother 1 rendered in 3D. I'm actually pretty happy with how this turned out, except for some issues with the Earth's rotation at around 00:59. Seriously, I can't figure out why it's skipping like that.

I only now realize that after defeating the ant, Ness sees the entirety of Onett, the town where he lived his entire life until that point, from an angle from which he never has before. From the summit of a great hill or mountain. He realizes just how far he's come. One of EarthBound's greatest strentghs is its worldbuilding, and it nailed establishing its towns. When I see Onett I also think of my own hometown, that's why this moment resonates with me so. I never would've thought about it this way had I not seen your video, congratulations.
