I caught a younger relative of mine seeing one of those, and immediately uninstalled TikTok on his device. Ok, so I stumbled upon one of those videos- an adult, tall minion getting shot multiple times. and, most likely a child asked what game is it. They assumed that it's a videogame. I replied and told them that it's ai cover of a real person and event, I've seen someone reply to it with this exact sentence: "it's amazing. you can watch gore without feeling the need to look away from the screen.". I replied to them saying this: why would you want to watch that in the first place? i disagree with you, as it in my opinion desensitizes you to seeing such things and makes you more apathetic. The person who said that that content is amazing later replied to a different comment with: it's disturbing. this versions just straight out normal. ("It's" meaning the video with the minion) So yeah. The comments under that video were mixed, either laughing about it or being as disturbed as I was. The comments were in not just english, but also, russian, arabic and i think Hindi? So yeah. That commenter who said it's okay had a cross in their username, assuming their Christian. There were also comments with links, which I'm too scared to click.

This is like December 22 all over again
