SmallTown Outsiders (2022) S1 E1-3 Reaction | FIRST TIME WATCHING
I hope you'll enjoy this series!
"SmallTown Outsiders", inspired by Stranger Things, is a coming of age sci-fi / mystery / thriller show made off their own backs with just fan funding as an extra and quite honestly, it's brilliant!
It only has five short episodes so far, but Season 2 is coming soon.
Each episode is jam packed with talent and a great story and I really wanted to highlight the series here and on RUclips.
I'm not sponsored by them, but I am posting this so that everyone can see this and will leave their website below so that you can support them or check out their other work if you like.

Thank you for joining me watching "To Kill A Mockingbird". The film really told the story of Tom and everything surrounding him with the town's people very well. It's appalling to me that people used to be like that, for them to be so racist and just presume they are a bad person, but I do know that racist people like that did exist and some still exist to this day. This does a brilliant job at...

I really enjoyed this episode, but I still think the best thing about it is that it made me look up The Wicked Lady which it turns out is an amazing film. (The 40s one, the remake obviously I won't go near as it's a Cannon film.)

Now watch Spice World, a blatant ripoff of Hard Day's Night with the Spice Girls getting ready for a concert. You'll see why a Hard Day's Night is a masterpiece and Spice World, to be quite charitable, isn't.

Thank you Nessa! I'm so glad you love the older films too. Yeah! Cary Grant is now one of my personal favourite actors because of this and this is my favourite of his and one of my favourite films. I watch a lot of the classics here, so I hope you'll love future ones I bring too! One of which is actually "His Girl Friday", which is brilliant. So fast paced, but very well played. Another classic film watched is another Grant film "The Philadelphia Story", with Katherine Hepburn and James Stewart. The uncut to both are up on Patreon / YT Members, but I'm hoping to edit at least His Girl Friday for the channel at some point in the near future. Thank you for those! I'll add the others to my film suggestions list (anyone can view it over on Patreon). Thank you so much for watching! I massively appreciate you being here and enjoying what we watch together. Have a lovely day Nessa!

I've always thought Peter Lorre was an absolutely incredible actor, ever since i saw his role in Fritz Lang's 'M' -- he did drama just as handily as he did comedy, even into the 1960s when he teamed up with Vincent Price for a few of Roger Corman's movies. I keep meaning to watch him and Sidney Greenstreet pair up as leads in 'The Mask of Demetrios'

(Have to admit I love your reaction to the jump scare 😉) Bravo for being a supporter and bringing to light this series by a fledgling production company. We need to support more grass roots/smaller budget projects.

U mentioned that in this film u still haven’t seen the shark which is really really great. Another film that did this excellently is Predator from 1987. One of the best sci-fi action films starring Arnold Schwarzenegger. U really need to check it out.

Chance of Home Free wrote Skull and Bones for the Ubisoft game and the Bass Gang did their own version of it t add to HF's three.

Interesting that Peter Ustinov played both King Richard and the character you clipped saying, "King Richard"; i.e., Prince John. He's been in a lot of stuff and was also a writer and director. You may have seen him in _Spartacus_ or as Hercule Poirot in, among other things, _Death on the Nile._

I'll start of by saying, if at all possible, read the novel or story first, because almost every time, the book contains things not in the movie, and most of the time, the book is better than the movie! There was also a book where one of the sayings was never just anybody over 30. It was a very beautiful movie and the acting was great, at least in my eyes. And there was a TV version but didn't say around long. I have the book and met the writer at a SF convention in Portland.

Really appreciate the way you present and the commentary. Brilliant. 💙

Hey, great reaction. In terms of personal enjoyment and fascination, this film is easily in my top 5. I love everything about it, from the religious tension and the more "creepy" elements to the musical and visual aesthetics. Despite the budget issues and attempt to "bury" the film, I guess the gods intervened. Shaffer and Hardy really caught lightning in a bottle, like that amazing ending shot with the Wicker Man's head falling to reveal the sun blazing behind it. There's so much to revisit and appreciate; what a gem!

The woman reporter who asks Ringo "Are you a mod or a rocker?" was Marianne Stone. She had bit parts in many British films and television series from the late 1940s through to the 1970s. "The 39 Steps" (Kenneth More version, woman behind desk), "Venetian Bird" 1952 (Woman walking by as John Gregson is taking peoples' photos)..... many of the Carry On films, tons more. She is virtually unrecognisable in "A Hard Day's Night" from her earlier film appearances as she had undergone drastic nose surgery. Another classic film that it would be great to see you cover is "Saturday Night and Sunday Morning" (1960) Norman Rossington is in that one too. A classic.
