for some reason my friend isn't able to join my server after I've started it. any idea why?

Uhh is it normal when I join someone’s lobby and it says loading and never ends

do you have to put like the files of the mod to the plugins of bepinex plugins file? because most of the time people just show or talk about that you need to extract the zip file and then put the assets to the bepinex plugins file and i dont know if i can now just download the mods and not worry about these things or i have to somehow do them because when i downloaded the bepinex there wasnt any files named plugins or anything like that. (sorry for yapping im just worried that the mods wont work)

when i download vhs company and click the start button "modded" theres an error about failing to find "preloader dll"
