Soros’ bet against the British pound has been called one of the greatest currency trades of all time. Britain joined the European Exchange Rate Mechanism, or ERM, in 1991 during a period of high inflation and low interest rates. As part of that agreement, Britain vowed to keep the pound within a certain band in relation to the German mark and, in order to keep the two currencies within the rang...

    That's the huge misconception about Steve Jobs when you first don't know anything about him. At first, I thought he was a genius full of ideas and concepts plus he had the know-how to do something. As I get older, I don't believe it was any of these things he was strong at. It was something else. I believe he was strong at getting the right people together, he was strong at making mistakes and learning from them, and he was strong at working hard with practice. That's what made him an efficient leader. Not the title, but his actions.

    You like to play with the interests of another and then if something affects you, you feel attacked, in a war when you attack your opponent, at least you should expect from him to defend himself, As soon as an alliance is created, it is to strengthen the common benefit, not bilateral. It does not work like this. I do not fear rejection from a sector when there are emerging markets waiting to work with you, so it’s better merry the right people with same interests, ideas and points of view.

    Vandara Shiva " Bill Gates did not invent anything. The basic program was made by some mathematics professors in a college. The office operating system, he bought for $50,000. He has built an empire by creating patents on software and the 1st wto meeting in Singapore gave him tax concessions which is why all the IT industry moved to India. The fact that silicon valley became India silicon valley is because they could save 40 billion dollars annually by paying lower wages for THE SAME wor. An outsourcing of software, all for mr gates. Then he started to put some of his money into philanthropy. And everyone thought wow, he is such a generous man, he gives so much. When in reality, every' place he gives to is his former/future markets So clearly when yiu dig deeper into what this actor says infront of a camera and what he truely is doing, it's clear Gates is good at nothing but taking the credit himself for others computer and scientific work/ skills. And after pushing his way into the medical industry , claiming vaccines (poisonss) are the best investment he ever made. Now in 2024, he has pushed himself into the food industry aswell, telling the world what to eat. His crap he calls meat he grows in a lab?? Glad to see Florida banning it from their state. Many more to come I'm sure. No end to this mans talents hey ! He should be behind bars.

    "We" is more like Woz or someone else. I have never even HEARD of him writing any "real" code. Maybe i'm wrong on this but i've never heard anyone say, "Steve Jobbs really knows how to write code". Jobbs stood on the shoulders of "real" geniuses and took the credit. He might have been a visionary, but that's it, and that's over stating it since he would say, "I want it done this way" and the actual artists would draw it up. So, he was.....a concept guy? nuff said?

      Too much misinformation out there. I may not know Steve Jobs himself but I can read people. You can hate him for being a terrible father to his child, but you can’t deny his talents and ability to think and move things forward. Why would he need to code a ton of other people who can do that. He should use his talent exactly how he did: creating a platform to grow his vision. And he excelled at it. you clearly haven’t read enough of his biography or watch any of his movies

    • @McFlashh
      @McFlashh Месяц назад

      He was a genius in the way that he had a vision and could lead others. Those are the type of people which change the world. I don’t think he was a great engineer, Wozniak was. But Woz probably wouldn’t have created a computer if it wasn’t for Steve’s vision. You need both type of people in a company, but ultimately the leader needs to be the visionary and founder. Tim Cook is neither a visionary or founder, hence Apple isn’t reaching its full potential as it did with Steve.

    The speaker identifies that stress often results from inaction over controllable situations. Stress acts as a warning sign for the speaker, indicating that something requires attention. Taking action, even a small one like sending an email or making a call, significantly reduces stress for the speaker. Stress is misunderstood by many; it's not the result of hard work. One can enjoy hard work or be stressed while unemployed. Proactive measures, like job hunting, can mitigate stress, contrasting with the stress of inaction.

      The irony is that you actually believe what you just said. That’s why it is ironic. You don’t get to be a visionary without knowing how to do the real stuff

      @@seattlerain8655 yet provides no proof of him actually being involved with any form of coding for any of the devices he makes. Also, guess who runs most businesses in this country? Execs who actually know nothing about the ground level of the industry. Look at hospitals for examples. All of the leadership knows nothing about medicine.

    • @McFlashh
      @McFlashh Месяц назад

      @@yamchayakuIn business, you hire people who are specialised in different fields to do what they’re good at. The CEO needs to have a vision and lead others. I’m sure Steve knew a lot about computers and technology, he probably did know how to code. But even if he didn’t, he created probably the most important company there is. Genius is someone who is different from the rest, there are plenty of people who can code but not one who could create another Apple.

These days even Amazon take down those "3M yellow stick-its" (Post-it Notes) from their virtual store because i) you can't review a product unless you buy it off Amazon and ii) Amazon take down product reviews that *they* deem to be unfair.
