It'll be interesting where they decide to go with the relationship post-season 2, now that Riot has confirmed them as a lesbian pairing in-cannon. However, don't you guys see the similarities in THE SCENE in s2 ep8, with them having their first time, mirroring the brothel scene? Let me explain myself: The brothel scene is the first time we see Vi somewhat saying she thinks Cait is hot, then going on to see her sitting with another girl, comfortable. At this moment she realizes that Caitlyn is full of surprises, one because she partially has her answer to her question, also she is shocked that Cait also would be so bold to be confident and comfortable with another female like that in a public space (since she thought before that that Cait was just a rich, regal girl), and also maybe, that maybe, Vi has a chance with her, but even with it being happy, flirty, shaky, and comfortable for them both, that first time is reflected somewhat in the brothel scene. Cait being the more confident in her body, with Vi being told by her without the words, that Vi has nothing to be ashamed or unconfident for. Ironic with how Vi was the first to go down instead of Cait. Showing that she is more confident than we think even if it is her first, since it's Caitlyn. Season 2s end, while happy and comfortable and safe together, I feel that Hailee is hinting at only wanting to come back to he character later on to finish out their romance. Which, even while she didn't say this would happen, tells me that they have an idea as to them getting married at some point. It would be cool to see the shift in dynamic once they are married, or if anyhtign really changes. "Same people as ever before, yet different in name." It would be fitting to have Vi taking Caitlyn's last name since she doesn't really know her own. IN the future, I'd like them to be written as a problem-solving team and working really well with each other. Still arguments, but able to better work through them because of the time together. Man, I really love them even if they are a fictional couple since it just feels so real.
