Never been that way before, but as I stay in the la paz area normally (pez azul) i have walked those steps many times. But thank you for showing ua another way to walk xxx

No - we decided that the approach was too dangerous as it was very steep

Nice trip, how long did the hike take Parador-Pico Viejo-Parador?
I don't remember exactly - I think around 2 1/2 - 3 hours up and 1 1/2 - 2 hours down. Time will depend on age, fitness and ability to cope with altitude. I am 68 years old and reasonably fit. A younger person will be able to do the hike more quickly!
