I'm of Samoan descent, born and raised in South-Central Alaska.
My journey to learn FPV has been in parallel with my want to know more about my Polynesian ancestors and our heritage having grew up outside of my culture. As a self-proclaimed artist, thinker, and tinker-er, I've made it one of my missions to find ways to freely express who I am. As I learn more about my culture and about flying FPV, the two seemingly fuse into a stronger self-identity.
"Manatu" (Maw-Naw-Too) means "Idea" or "Thought" in Samoan. The fuel for creativity in my own life has always begun with an idea; and flying FPV fuels my thoughts so they can be developed, collaborated on, and shared.

Alaska's offering some beautiful days as we approach spring/summer. While heading to one of my regular fly spots I got to meet (and fly with) a fellow RC hobbyist.
