It is sooo relaxing to watch it snow and accumulate...someplace else!
i see this one frequently and i love it. it looks so cozy, all the little apartments with their little garage doors. it looks like some sort of holiday, because no one went to work on Monday morning, and possibly Tuesday either! i love watching this one.

So, we're calling a 6" snowstorm "Snowzilla" now? I guess we know why this is in the comedy category.
This was the first 11 hours of a storm that went until late in the day on the 23rd. More than 20" covered a wide swath of the Northeast from DC to NYC. Boston got less. It was the biggest recorded snowstorm for many cities in the Northeast - especially WV, western MD, and central PA where 30 to 40" fell. It WAS a snowzilla.

Smart people put their cars and pick-up trucks in the driveway so to keep the street clear for the city or town to plow the streets.
I wish we got snow like that here in California!! How come all the vehicles have there windshield wipers up ?
Keeps them from freezing to the windshield if there's ice. Makes it easier to clean frozen stuff off the winshield and wipers afterwards.

I was on that trip on June 26, 2010 with my parents. In June 2013, I returned to take a cab ride aboard #734 with my friend Grant while my parents rode coach.
*about* as exciting as watching leave blow.... Let's hope it statys that way...
