Very nice work! 👌🏻
thanks
Would also like to know how you extended the work table for shaper origin. Thanks
I have printed a large work table ID so it does cover the work area, you need a good scan from shaper origin, if not keep increasing the ID tape areas
Very interesting! I guess I never thought of eccentric gears of any kind, much less spiral.
Excellent, nothing like art you can actually play with
Pretty cool little gizmo, would have loved to see the mechanical movement of the finished product and maybe a bit of brief voiceover detail about the build.
Amazingly detailed loved the video!
thanks
AMAZINGNES!!!

You sure have a steady hand for tracing!

Brilliant!
Hi Stan, would you be willing to share the file for the plasma cutter? I work on a farm for a chap who's in his 80's and he used to use horses for work and I think he would love one of these on his wall. I'm quite happy to pay something for it as I know the equipment and time isn't free. Kind regards
I can see why it would be satisfying to recreate a memory in such a way, I hope that you learn to use it as a reference in time and are able to revisit your memories with more clarity every time you see it.
Hi - Came to your channel through your videos on Logic Trace. What 3D scanner are you using? It would be interesting to see something output from this on a CNC machine - or a 3D printer, I guess. Haven't ventured into that yet. Thanks
I have 2 3d scanners archer and fisher both are high end scanners difficult when I first bought them but with software updates its getting better
It looks like you are not aware that when multiple lines intersect or run over each other you can tab through each to find the one you want to cut. I didnt realize this option until i got stuck like you did trying to get the right line. At the bottom center of the screen, when multiple lines are available to choose from hit the botton to cycle through them. Very cool weave!!
Would you want to share this file? I have a friend who wants me to help him maker a paddle headboard for his cabin.
Bonjour Très intéressant. Quel est le logiciel qui permet la saisit du dessin ? Merci d'avance Cordialement
Hi Stan, I'm just getting into using my Shaper Origin; could you help me understand how you've extended your workstation towards you to increase the working area to clamp your work piece to. Cheers
with the work station they provide you are limited to about 18 inches by maybe 11 I have made bigger ones
Nice project. I often do a toolpath that runs above the material to help position the material for a specific feature such as the eye in your case.
Photo capture would give SO much better a result
nice
That is really cool looking.

beautiful 😊
Stan, do you have an extension to your workstation that holds your workpiece?
yes it came like that just added a piece of plywood
Interesting video. I'm curious why you do a lot of the cuts in little pieces. I prefer to start in one place and run the entire path, then retract and go to the next. It helps me with making sure I get all of the elements. I also find myself really tense when I start out and then force myself to relax and it becomes much more enjoyable.
i ma not sure what reason i could give you , its just my way maybe
@@stankern2271 That's what I figured, but thought I'd ask. I find it interesting the many different ways people are using their SO. Thank you for your reply.
Hello, Stan. As a little boy in 1960, and as an avid reader of Popular Mechanics, I came across this flatwater kayak design and talked my dad into building it with me. Great fun to see your two videos. CNC machinery was on nobody's radar back then. Thank you.
When you scan the domino tape does the work piece have to be on the surface already? Or can you scan first and then just place the work piece after the scan
Bnjour, Pourquoi votre surface de travail n'est-elle pas alignée avec celle des dominos ? Cordialement, Thierry
I really appreciate your videos using the Logic Trace board - I have a 2x3 board (and CNC and laser) and appreciate the tips and commentary on using it for those machines. Thanks for doing these videos.
Looks interesting. So pieces are limited to the size of domino board thing?
