You can use alcohol ink, acrylic paint or glass paint on metal with great effects

Normal ball-tip tools that you buy at any craft store, and a set of Teflon-tip tools that I bought in South Africa 20 years ago

You can purchase colour-coated Aluminium on Amazon. On pewter you can add colour with glass paint, Alcohol inks, metal patinas and metal paint

Hi there, I fill the back of the design with beeswax to keep the design in tact. Pewter is a very soft metal and because of the size of this project, the design can collapse over time if not supported, or if someone presses on it. Hope that helps 😁
