"Graveyard Forensics" presented by Dr. Arthur Bohanan 10.15.24
Sit back and listen to a living legend and pioneer of forensics, Dr. Arthur Bohanan, discuss his career, cases, share photos and stories as well as learn about his unique method of identifying unmarked graves (no electronic tools required!!). He has identified almost 400 graves right behind the Pigeon Forge Public Library! Dr. Bohanan - after years of refining his techniques - is now able to determine gender, adult or child and even the race of a buried body. So get ready to listen and be amazed at the brilliance and talent of this man!

Wednesday, January 24 - Join Pigeon Forge Public Library Historian Christina Wolfenbarger as she details the history of Pigeon Forge Pottery and its connection to the Tennessee Valley Authority (TVA). Look back at the pottery's beginnings - established by husband and wife team Douglas and Ruth Ferguson - and the continued success the workshop and store enjoyed for just over 50 years.
