In 2021, GVLT partnered with the Newhall Family, the US Forest Service, and community supporters to place a protective trail easement on a .6 mile portion of the Bridger Ridge Trail (just south of Baldy) that passes through private land. The entirety of the Bridger Ridge Trail is now protected forever.
