Have you noticed they don’t automatically pair to a Bluetooth desk phone if you leave a room then return to your desk?
I’m definitely going to try the firm earplugs! But here’s the thing, when I apply pressure to my ear with my finger, I perceive it at a higher pitch tone or ringing. I often use an AirPod ear bud to drowned out the thumping noise.
Hey @ryanmodom, I think you commented on another video, so forgive me if I'm repeating a question, but do you feel thumping or throbbing sensations in your ear's, or do you hear sounds? If what you experience is more along the lines of hearing things, it's probably not TTTS or MEM. I can definitely help you identify what's going on, but I'd need a detailed description of all your symptoms, and please add age group and level of hearing loss.
Great info about how to create a manual sphere program. Thanks Guy. Just a question if you won't mind. Do you switch the manual sphere program by pushing the HA buttons or do you use the phone App for that? I find that ever time I use the App I needs to reconnect to the HA.
@Klaas_H Thanks for your feedback! It's very easy and convenient to do via the buttons. Just 1 long press up and you're on the first manual program, which for me is the sphere program. Then 1 long press down and I'm back to Automatic. 👍 I don't have any manual programs other than 2 variations of the sphere program, so it's pretty easy to make the switch.
I have severe high range loss. I have needed hearing aids for years. Your videos have really opened up my eyes to so much. Now I can not wait to get them. Thank you for your great videos Joe Volborth
@Diver7atms Thank you for your feedback! Good luck with the new hearing aids, and please let me know if you have any questions or if I can help in any other way.
For a long time, I thought I am experiencing pulsatile tinnitus, but what you just described more closely matches my symptoms. My thumping does not go away with light jugular compression and it does not exactly match my heartbeat. It does happen mostly when I am laying or sitting down and I use a pretty firm foam pillow, always have. Does physical activity make your thumping go away? I frequently get up out of bed and walk up and down the stairs a few times or do a few jumping jacks and this will make the thumping go away. Though, sometimes I lay down and it comes right back. Also, if I contract my eye muscles in a very specific way, I can trigger a single thump sound. Doing this does not trigger the repeated thumping that I hear when I’m laying down. I described the thumping sound I hear as more of a physical sensation like a pressure change similar to what you hear when you’re in a car and only one window is rolled down or your ear popping on an airplane.
@ryanmodom Yes, for me as well, being active is typically a good way to fight my TTTS. The problem is when you want to sleep... 🤦♂😁 No guarantees, but check my hacks video, especially since you're using firm pillow: ruclips.net/video/rNBk3U51TP4/видео.html And yes, the sensation you're describing is accurate. Wishing you thumping-less days and nights!
Good video. Real life wearers experiences are invaluable. On the Phonak in cafe with and without Sphere engaged: Initially, I thought it incredible. Imagine my dismay, when watching it again, to see in small print that the event was simulated. Disheartening. But then you, as a wearer, inform us that the Sphere Infinio really works as shown. Just what is needed.
@jakemurphy9536 Thank you for your feedback! 🙏 These HA are truly amazing. Not perfect, but situations and environments I already written off are back in play!
I've similar problems from past 7-8 months in my R ear. I also have patulous ET in my R side. For my case it is more active while I'm laying down. If I wake up, the clicking noise goes away immediately for some time. Although, I can still feel the spasms. Till now, I've tried multiple muscle relaxants and sedatives like baclofen, clonazepam etc but no effect. No doc has advised me surgery yet. I did go for myringotomy in June for my ET problem but not much difference anywhere.
@akshitmonga1356 so you have TTTS (or other MEM) and patulous ET? Are you feeling TTTS in both ears? If you experience it more while laying down (I'm the same), then try the 2 hacks that I shared in this video: ruclips.net/video/rNBk3U51TP4/видео.html Of course, I can't guarantee it's going to work for you, but you may as well try. How is your stress level during these month? If you're going through some things that increase your stress level, then trying mitigating that with exercise, (gradual) sound therapy, mindfulness, etc. could help as well. I'm sure you know better than me, but for patulous ET there are certain meds and foods you want to avoid as they can really worsen your symptoms. And then always stay well-hydrated. The hack I use with earplugs for TTTS may also help with autophony. May I ask what's your age group (40's, 50's, 60's)?
@@HearingCare-Channel Yes, no sure which muscle but MEM + PET. It is only in my R ear, the same side with PET. Thanks for the tips. My stress level increases with tinnitus which I guess in turn increases my tinnitus (I have a partial voluntary control on the clicking noise). I am 23.
@@akshitmonga1356 We only exchanged a couple of comments, so hard to say, but it sound like you can use stress mitigation techniques. While there's no guarantee it'll make huge difference, it'll definitely not hurt and only improve your stress levels. Please let me know if you'd like to chat over phone to learn more about your situation and do my best to help. You can also email me directly with more health details, and I'll do some research and get back to you. Wishing you the quickest relief and best health!
I‘m testing Sphere I90 for several weeks now and have Bluetooth interruptions with my Apple TV every two or three minutes, so I can not confirm „strong Bluetooth“, sorry. Tested against two pairs of Apple Airpods which work flawless.
@hartmuthillmann First, you're comparing Apples and oranges.... 😉😂 But seriously now, remember that these HA keep 2 active connections at the same time, so if you don't want any interruptions while watching TV, for example, make sure to turn off Bluetooth on your cell (or whatever the other device is). If you're having a really important video call/meeting on your computer, again, turn off Bluetooth on your cell.
@ I tried that already, no effect, still interruptions to an amount of losing words and sentences from the movie. Unacceptable.
@@hartmuthillmann Yeah, agreed, that's not acceptable. You may need to "refresh" or reset your BT connection and test again. Essentially, this is done by unpairing/deleting all BT connection from all other devices including your cell phone to your HA. Then, restart both your HA and cellphone. Phonak Support has this procedure documented on their website, I believe. After the restart, first pair your cellphone and HA and test BT streaming this way. If all is good, then add 1 more device (e.g. TV) and test streaming as well. This should work in getting you quality and consistent streaming. If does not, then it's time to work with Phonak Support directly.
Some of my observations: from time to time I get these sounds in left ear - from "humming" to "buzzing" to "wind" sounds. The volume changes from very quiet to loud. I found that changing posture can change the sound or even stop it altogether. Try changing the position of your head, shake and loosen your lower jaw a few times, sideways and pushing it forwards. Make you head, neck, jaw as relaxed as possible. Things like scalp massage, yawning, valsalva (blowing nose) sometimes help but sometimes make it worse. I think they initially make it worse because they kind of "shake it up " but after half hour it gets much better . I wonder if anyone has tried acupucture?
@timh847 If you're experiencing sounds, not feelings/sensations, you're probably dealing with tinnitus and not TTTS or MEM. Trust me, tinnitus is better, so you're "lucky". It also sounds like you have somatic tinnitus that's affected by physical stress/tension, and in this case what you're describing makes total sense. I actually tried acupuncture a couple of times. It does help in the sense of reducing stress which then helps reducing tinnitus symptoms. In the case of somatic tinnitus, it can actually address the exact areas that are causing tinnitus and thus definitely help. 👍
@@HearingCare-Channel thanks for the info. From time to time I get feelings in the ear as well - which a doc said is eustachian tube dysfunction with some fluid in there. probably explains it. Good luck with your symptoms, hope you get on alright. A possible option to try is a low inflammation diet? Year ago when working away from home, I did a keto diet for 4 months. I felt great doing that, but couldnt continue when returned to eating with family
@@timh847 Yes, diet and nutrition in general is very important, but many people avoid thinking about diet as a source of tinnitus. This is why I covered this topic in my tinnitus relief video: ruclips.net/video/KZ_VYdUp_mA/видео.html
I found your channel while researching Phonak Audeo Sphere. I intend to upgrade my current hearing aids soon. Perhaps pair it with ActiVent receivers. Do you have experience with that product also? Where can I get good discount prices on Phonak devices? Thanks.
Hi @lenhumbird, welcome! I can answer all your questions, but I need to know the following: 1) What country you reside in? This greatly affects availability and pricing of HA. 2) What is your level of hearing loss (preferably professionality tested)? 3) What is your age group (30's, 40's, etc.)?
I need hearing aids but can not tolerate the background hiss.
@rickcrammond6330 background hiss? You may be hearing your tinnitus. 😉
@@HearingCare-Channel Possibly, but, it's a costly error if you buy them and can't use them. They go in the drawer with the others. Thanks for your reply.
@@rickcrammond6330 Forgive me for being a little silly on Friday afternoon. Did you experience background hiss that was generated by the HA you tried? If that's the case, then it's malfunction or mistuning. HA should not generate any noises on their own. Can you give me a little more detailed on what you experienced and what HA this happened with? Also, these days you can try most HA and return them for a full refund if they don't work well for you.
@@rickcrammond6330 Your hearing experience is our top priority. We offer a 45-day money-back trial period for the RIC700, providing you with a peace of mind at purchase.
Good review Guy. Thx. How is the maximum gain in db they provide? Are they better than the Jabra Enhance Pro? They seems big, no?
Thanks @dannyturenne181! No, they're not big at all and they're super lightweight. Pretty quickly you forget you have anything in your ears. You cannot compare these to the Jabra Enhance Pro. These are made for mild to moderate hearing loss. They wouldn't support someone with severe hearing loss very well. The Jabra Enhance Pro are premium HA that can definitely support severe hearing loss.
Hi, Guy. Did you undergo REM measurement, or do you think the Phonak software can be perfectly adjusted by the hearing care technician with standard tests?
Hi @matthewrivas5043, I got the Phonak via remote service model to reduce the price significantly, so I did not go through REM for these HA. However, I did REM for other aids multiple times for the purpose of different reviews I've done on this channel. I have no doubt it's very important, but I think that if you have 1. Audiogram created by a *professional*, and 2) an *experienced* audiologist doing adjustments with you based on your feedback, then within 1-3 adjustments you should have the HA tuned up and working well for you.
@@HearingCare-Channelthank you so much, I found this really helpful
Thanks for your review and saving me from buying outdated hearing aids that were going to cost TWICE the price! I've changed audiologists and forwarded your video. In Australia the Sphere has only been available for one month. I have "only" moderate hearing loss but with the Sphere 90, I feel like I can hear normally. I'm reluctant to take them off! Your review has changed my life - no exaggeration!
Hi @forevergreen6094, thank you so much for your kind feedback! I know I wear these HA from the moment I wake up (well, after washing up) until I go to sleep. Every day! 😁 The Sphere function has already changed my life and ability to communicate with others in ways I didn't think possible.
This is the best explanation of the functions of the hearing aids that I've seen
Hi @dthomas1231, thank you so much for your feedback! I'm glad the video was helpful for you.
Another amazing video! I really appreciate how thorough you are!
@JeffReese79 Thank you so much for your kind feedback! 🙏
Hi Guy, great videos. I have the same condition as yourself and been wearing hearing aids since 1992. I have the sphere 90 and been using them for just over a week. I have as before played with the Phonak app sometimes not finding a suitable program for the particular environment I am in at that time. One comment I would make is that I have not experienced the sphere performance and even using your recommended adjustment, the sphere is not apparently created. The program on the app when in the spheric mode which has been saved does not reduce the 16> hours indicated in each of the set or added programs. Any thoughts? The new aids produce better clarity and speech recognition. By the way I am in the UK 80 years old and had to wait a month and am apparently one of the lucky ones. Thanks again for really clear and objective videos.
Hi @philipsewell4255, thank you so much for your feedback! My guess is that you're not doing this in the right settings/conditions. You really need busy/noisy bar/restaurant/coffeeshop AND speech very close to you, or better yet, someone speaking with you. I demoed the entire process in the 2nd video here: ruclips.net/video/um7X5uLGwP0/видео.html Watch this video and let me know if you still can't get it to trigger.
@@HearingCare-Channel Hi Guy, thank you for coming back to me. Do you have the Activent fitted as a receiver or a dome? I have a solid receiver which I am told is for the severe hearing loss. Followed your instructions again without success in respect of a sphere program, this is judged from the saved version and viewing the battery - still 16>. Regards Phil
@@philipsewell4255 Hi Philip, I think you're confusing something, or I'm misunderstanding something. So let's clarify.... 😁 My hearing loss is severe, and I use power domes. Activent is just a feature of the Phonak receivers on these HA. You would still need a dome or custom earmold over the receiver to secure it in the ear and provide the desired fit and sound. In other words, the thing that's touching your ear canal must be a dome or earmold. Is this making sense? It could also be that you guys in the UK are using slightly different terms that are causing this confusion. If you're unable to trigger the Sphere function, then go back to your audiologist and have them create the manual program for you. They can also check some other settings that encourage the Phonak HA to trigger the sphere function by adjusting some thresholds etc.
@@HearingCare-ChannelHi I thanks again. I have UP 6 receivers in C shells, not sure if that is the same in US phil
@@philipsewell4255 UP are just the power receivers and C shell confirms my assumption that you're using custom earmolds. But all of these details don't really affect the sphere 2nd AI chip function, well not in the sense that we're discussing here. So go back to my original comment. That's your next course of action. 😁
I'm excited as I will be getting the Phonak hearing aids hopefully before Christmas I have been using another brand of hearing aids for a few years and I'm excited and trying to wait patiently for them as I have heard so much good that comes from them. I have been wearing hearing aids since I was very young in Elementary School. Thank you for your video, I found it very helpful.
I have this problem it started from last night. I feel fullness in my left ear and twitching of a muscle feeling in my left ear. Should i be concerned and see a doctor? and i dont hear much of a sound when it happens i am worried that it might be pulsinate tinnitus
Hi @adhirajtripathi9324, Let's break it down, so that I can help you identify what you're experiencing. First, are you hearing or feeling movements or fluttering-like sensations? How long ago did you start experiencing this issue? Do the sensation you feel follow your heartbeat? Pay attention while resting. Then, do jumping jacks for 1-2 mins and then pay attention again. Is the sensation still matching your heartbeat? Do you have any level of hearing loss or tinnitus? And finally, what is your biological sex and age group (30’s, 40’s, 50's, etc.)? Once you send me back this info, I should be able to help you identify what's going on. Best, Guy. PS - Meanwhile, don’t be too worried or concerned. That on its own can cause issues.
hi, thank you for sharing this information. I have an old pair of Bernafons and need to replace them. I have some questions - It sounds like you are constantly modifying the settings... don't you find this annoying or frustrating? - I'm in the US... where did you buy them? - How much did they cost? - I guess you are using a phone app to modify your settings. I have an Android. What kind of phone do you have?
Hi @dicey7890, - No, I do not constantly switch between programs. It's important to set a few programs you can switch to quickly as needed, but on a typical day, that may happen 1-2 times. Having programs that are tuned to you and your needs in advance is important to your success with the HA. Some days, you may not even touch any programs, and some days you'll switch 1-3 times. 😁 - I'm in the USA as well (CO). I bought them using remote-service model (i.e. I do adjustments via phone+app meetings). Is this service model OK for you, or you prefer to work with local audiologist? - You can get them for around $3600 - 4600 depending on service model. - I have an Android as well. Phonak is one of those companies that work really well with Android. 👍 Let me know if you have any other questions. best, Guy.
@dicey7890 - I got notification for your reply, but I can't find the comment anywhere. Maybe you deleted it? In any case, you need to select a company with good reviews and that have done this kind of business and service for a while. Write to me directly at my email address and I'll send you some recommendations.
You say that in a noisy environment where several people are talking, you can hear clearly. But how does the system know on which person should be heard, while the others are attenuated. How can it discriminate on the required sound source?
@maybethistimenow Good question. I wish I was able to attach images in comments, so I can show you the app settings, but you can also watch this video for full details: ruclips.net/video/N48CrfUscBE/видео.html Essentially, in the app, you can tune how you want the HA to focus on human speakers. You can focus right in front of you, 180 degrees or even all around you. This setting coupled with the noise reduction setting will control how you hear people in noisy environments. Again, the video I linked above will show you these settings.
@@HearingCare-Channel Thank you for that insight. I am awaiting the delivery of mine Phonak Sphere 90s. Can I check, via the app, if the original audiogram has been entered correctly?
@@maybethistimenow I don't think so. I haven't seen that option anywhere. The audiologist is responsible to tune the HA to your needs. If something isn't working right, you should have multiple free adjustments available to you where they'll make further adjustments until the HA work well for you in different environments. Usually, within 1-2 adjustments, the HA should work very well for you. Just remember to write down feedback you have as you're experiencing it, so that way you can share it with the audiologist with details of where/when you generated that feedback.
Im mainly looking for something to wear in social situations like dining out? Do these types of hearing aids help in that situation?
Hi @paulaus, depending on your hearing loss, then yes, these should work well (as long as your hearing loss is mild to moderate). If your hearing loss level is severe, or if you have other hearing challenges, then you might need to go with premium hearing aids like the Phonak Sphere (ruclips.net/video/m6U28MVAzgY/видео.html).
So far I’m having an excellent time with the white Cearvol. 🎉
@rdmoon4416 That's awesome! 👍
That's awesome @rdmoon4416 ! 👍
Thank you so much for this video. I just recently found out I have hearing loss and I have found it a bit overwhelming to understand the available options. I keep hearing really good things about these spheres and I think I am one step closer to making my choice.
@JeffReese79 You're very welcomed! I'm glad it was helpful. I know the HA journey can be overwhelming. Please let me know if you have any questions, or need any help. Based on what you wrote, I'm assuming you've done hearing test recently. What's your level of hearing loss?
@@HearingCare-Channel Thank you for asking! My audiogram shows normal hearing at 250-500 Hz, mild loss at 1kHz, and moderate loss from 2-8kHz, with an additional 10dB drop in the 4-8kHz range. This explains why I've been struggling with certain speech sounds and feeling frustrated in noisy social settings. It was eye-opening to learn how losing hearing at specific frequencies affects speech comprehension! I've narrowed my choices to the Phonak Spheres and Oticon Intent. I'm currently using Phonak Lumitys, which have greatly improved my speech understanding. However, I'm having issues with battery life and Bluetooth connectivity. Since I use Apple devices (iPhone and Macs) for work and personal use, with frequent Zoom meetings, I'm particularly interested in the Oticon's Made for iPhone (MFi) capabilities for smoother connectivity. I appreciate your offer to help and am looking forward to finding the right solution that will let me fully enjoy social situations again!

Great video and information, Guy. You are one of us with hearing loss and tinnitus. 👏
I appreciate that! Thanks!
Very helpful guy! I will have my first hearing aids with an age of 55 and will try the Infinio and Sphere Infinio this month. The audiologist just took a form out of my ear to be able to create personalized domes for me. I think I will go for one of them, if it brings noticeable improvements for me, mainly in speech clarity in personnel meetings and good noise reduction while cycling.
@ParapentistaJuergen - Thanks for your feedback! Based on what you wrote, I'm assuming your hearing loss is severe, or close to severe. In that case, the Sphere Infinio will deliver mind blowing difference in noisy environment, but since these are your first HA, I'd take it gradual and slow. Gradually work on using the HA more and more hours per day until you eventually wear them most of your waking hours. Each person is different, but after a week or two, try walking into a noisy coffeeshop or restaurant and have conversations in those environment. That's where the big bang is happening. 😁 But also ask your audiologist to set up a manual Sphere program for you, so you can use it in other situations where there's noise and speech at the same time (e.g. conversing while driving).
@@HearingCare-Channel Very good advices. Thx therefore. I will definitely take them into consideration. Well, I wouldn´t call my hearing loss as severe, but moderate, maybe severe, if this can be said, when high frequencies are very poor. In my case, frequencies over 1KHz go below the 20db line in a linear way, by reaching 4KHz only with 60-75db. In deep frequencies I am hearing good. I am currently testing a Signia Pure Charge&Go 3IX (with standard domes) on my fourth day, but without having that "wow" effect of what I expected from hearing aids. I can hear higher frequencies a bit better, i.e. when I walk over dry leaves now in fall. TV listening is still the same, but all the rest, no significant improvement. Having a great disadvantage, when cycling with more than 20 km/h, using noises due to the wind. I wouldn´t buy these hearing aids now, as they do not deliver of what I need and I would even need to pay around 2k USD for them (the rest of 1.5k, my health insurance would take over). The main expectations in hearing aids for me are, speech understanding in personnel work meetings (will work for more than one decade still), social meetings with friends in restaurants or in any other louder locations with more than 1 person.
@@ParapentistaJuergen The Phonak should resolve all these challenges for you. Don't expect perfection, but it's a big step above anything out there right now. Also, Phonak HA can directly connect to TVs, computers, etc. so you should be doing great on that front. 👍
Hey all, a few people already showed interest in me doing a dedicated video about hearing aids *domes* and how to choose the best ones for your specific hearing loss level and ears. If you're also interested, please like this specific comment, and if you don't mind, reply with your level of hearing loss (mild, moderate, severe, profound). Thanks in advance!
I use the Phonak Paradise. Until 2 weeks ago I used the same power domes as you show in the video. My audiologist recommend that I try custom made earmolds. I got Phonak cShell 4.0 Acryl. This give me about a 50% improvement compared to the power domes.
@asgerrasmussen9219 This is great! Congrats! I should probably look into getting earmolds as well. I do pretty well with my bag of tricks (😂) but I will probably make the move soon.
I think the most helpful tip was about how to tell if the domes are fitting correctly. I think my ear holes may be slightly different sizes. One ear it fits fine and the other it feels just a bit too big (like wearing a pair of jeans that’s a bit too small, it fits but it’s not comfy). I got a pair of the Phonak Audeo Finio 90 spheres (really long name lol) with closed domes about a week ago. It's actually my first pair of hearing aids ever, I knew my hearing was bad but I never really realised just how much I was missing or how hard I was working to be able to understand what people were saying. I wouldn't go quite so far as to say that they are "life changing" but they certainly a major improvement in my hearing.
@KellyS_77 haha I have the same problem with my ears as well. I use large power dome for my right ear, and medium power dome for my left ear. This is why I use the incision trick I showed in the video to get maximum comfort and sound quality. As I just wrote on another comment, I may get earmolds soon. I'm a good candidate for them. So the Phonak Sphere are your first HA ever? What is your hearing loss level? Also, don't forget it'd take your brain some days to get used to and take full advantage of the amplification. And I'm willing to bet you haven't experienced the Sphere function yet! You should collect impressions as you use the HA in different environments, then share all your feedback with your audiologist in the next adjustment appointment you have. They should tune them for you so that you get maximum benefits from them. 👍
@@HearingCare-Channel @HearingCare-Channel Yep, the audeo sphere is my first hearing aid ever. I probably should've started wearing them 20 years ago or longer. Prior to a week or so ago, my last hearing test was in 1998 and I had a hearing loss then too, but thought it was fairly minor so didn't do anything about it (also I didn't have insurance or a way to pay for it back then). My hearing loss is pretty much very severe across the graph. with my left ear being worse than the right. (Nearly at the profound level for the higher pitches). I don't think I've had the "sphere" function turn itself on yet, but I don't often go places that are super noisy. I did notice a difference when we went to a local restaurant a couple nights ago. I convinced my spouse we needed to out to dinner to see how the hearing aids did in a noisy restaurant lol. Usually I have to lipread what the waitress is saying and have my spouse repeat it to me if I don't understand. But I was able to understand her on my own while I wasn't even looking at her, so that was cool. I can also hear my spouse (seated on my left) and my kid (in the back seat) while I'm driving (I'm in the UK, our steering wheel is on the right hand side of the car, so my "bad ear" is always closest to any passenger.) The first day and a half of wearing them was SO loud. The water when I was washing dishes sounded like a massive waterfall, my kid typing on the computer sounded like a jackhammer. And let's not even mention flushing the toilet which sounded like a jet taking off. By day three or four those sounds and a lot of others got a lot more tolerable to me. I know that my audiologist set the volume to something like 70% of full amplification, and that he'll eventually want to amp it up a bit more. (He started at 80% and we had to adjust it down before I left his office because it was uncomfortably loud to me.) I may end up moving to earmolds eventually, but I kind of want to give the domes as much of a chance as I can.
@@KellyS_77 You're describing life-changing experiences in your comment! 😁 Being able to understand people at a restaurant without even looking at them, or while driving, sound like significant improvements to me. Were you able to do that before? All I can say about the years you didn't use HA is: Better later than never! You can't change the past, but you can definitely change the future. 👍 Wait until you're in a busy coffee shop or restaurant and people speaking to you. When that Sphere function kicks in your brain will explode with amazement. Your description of the first few days is accurate and funny. I remember telling the audiologist that fit me with my first HA that their toilet is broken. 😂
@@HearingCare-Channel @ I could hear my spouse talk to me while I was driving but we lived in the USA then and so he was on the right of me (my better ear). Here in the UK my spouse would talk a lot louder. My kid would know he either needed to wait until we stopped the car or he had to speak really loud. I couldn’t understand a waiter/waitress at a restaurant before unless I was lip reading. My “speech in sound” ability without lip reading was almost nonexistent. The audiologist said I was getting about 30% of the words at the “easiest” level of speech in noise. Anything noisier and I was totally lost.
Please do a dome video
Yes, I’d like that too!!!
@TerryLark-j3z & @johnbrews9724 - OK, noted your interest. 👍
Thanks 😊
You're welcome! 👍
Great review. I made an appointment with them. I will be seeing them in a couple weeks and I am going to ask for the Jabra Enhance pro 20 because I have the same hearing problem as you. I have bad hearing, ringing in the ears all my life. My problem I am having with my present hearing aids is the sound is muffling, and when people talk the sound is not sharp. So thanks for the review, it was the best I found on youtube.
@richardandrosemaryalvarez5764 - Thank you for your feedback! I'm glad that you found this review helpful. Good luck at Costco and let me know if you have more questions later.
Well done
Thank you
@metealpaslan9176 🙏
Fabulous review so detailed and clear. Thank you
@AnthonyDening Thank you for your feedback! Glad it was helpful.
Just got these. every once in a while, I get the "mute? banner to show up. Why is that and what does that mean?
@Lee-qp6gf I did not encounter this issue. Does this seem to happen when you take specific action in the app or with the HA? @elehearglobal - Any ideas to help Lee?
Thank you for your question! The "mute" banner typically appears because system notifications or new app launches temporarily interrupt the hearing aid function. We have a solution in the app to help manage this. Connect your hearing aids to the ELEHEAR app via Bluetooth, then go to “hearing aid function” and choose from these three modes: 1. On mode: Both the hearing aid function and Bluetooth audio (calls, music, notifications) will play through the hearing aids simultaneously. 2. Off mode: The hearing aid function is muted, and the ELEHEAR app is disabled. Only Bluetooth audio will play through the hearing aids. 3. Auto mode: The hearing aid function mutes automatically when Bluetooth audio is detected, allowing only the Bluetooth audio to play. Once Bluetooth streaming ends, the hearing aid function resumes automatically. Please try adjusting these settings and see if this helps!😊
@@elehearglobal Thank you for answering this question! 🙏
Why are you bald? Are you bald cause you look like me because you are both those white glasses glasses are blue mine are blue. Don’t have glasses a popular kid in store.
@StarLosi Asking someone why is he bald is the same as asking why are you tall, or why your eyes are green. Kind of out of my control... 😂 But to address your question, I had seen a new barber just before this video was recorded, and she made a mistake that left me with 2 hair holes right above my temples. 🤷♂ Should I give her a 2nd chance?
Can ttts also sound like a low bass sound?
@KB-uz6dv yes, but TTTS should be accompanied by a feeling/sensation inside your ear. If you only *hear* but do not feel something, then you might be experiencing tinnitus without TTTS. If you share more about what you're hearing and/or feeling, I can try to help you identify what's happening. But please tell me a bit more about you (age group, hearing loss, hearing aids, etc.)
Great video and information, Guy. 👏🕵️
Thank you, @jeffj318 ! Glad you found it helpful.
I think this may be my diagnose, thank you for your detailed explanation of symptoms. I also found out, that covering the ear completely helps (for example with big closed earphones), even ear plug helps for some reason. I feel the fluttering mainly in the bed and it is usually strongest during night and morning. During the day I feel ear fullness sensation occasionally. What also helps for some reason is particular sound frequency, 240hz sound makes it go away completely for me.
Thank you for your feedback, @1000gib ! Please vote your specific condition on the Community tab (www.youtube.com/@HearingCare-Channel/community). I'm trying to gauge interest in a follow up video. 🙏
Thanks for the great tutorial! I've already changed several settings in my app!
@tz12346, glad you found it helpful! 🙏
Incredible, you talked about every situations where I have problems to hear with the Audeo Lumity (and that I have had with all the hearing aids before). It really looks like a dream come true. I will wait for the next gerneration. Thank you for the review!
@gagovi, thanks for your feedback! 🙏 These HA are truly amazing. They're changing my daily life and giving me much more confident to engage in conversation in situation I always shied away from in the past.
Is it necessary to adjust ambience of Bluetooth streaming setting ?
@Jack-mu4iv if you're referring to steaming focus or ambient focus, you can just leave it on the default setting. You'd only need to adjust it if you need to block external sounds around you and focus on the streaming (e.g. trying to listen to a stream while in a noisy environment).
@@HearingCare-Channel you mean Im going to off the surrounding if I want to reduce the noise while Bluetooth streaming right?
@@HearingCare-Channel is it normal you don't hear your own voice only the caller voice on hearing aid while making phone Bluetooth streaming ? Unlike not using Bluetooth you will hear both your voice and caller voice while talking phone call . Do I need setting to adjust ? Tnx
@@Jack-mu4iv Exactly.
@@Jack-mu4iv No, this is not normal. I think you must have moved the Ambient Sound dial all the way to the Audio side and this is why you don't hear yourself. Make sure the dial is right at the middle.
Hi. I just got the Oticon intent 1s about 3 months ago. I like them compared to the Oticon Mores that I had before. However it sounds like the Audeo Spheres are much better from your review. Have you compared the two of them? They are the latest technologies among the best hearing aids from what I understand. Do you think it’s worth changing from a brand new Intents to the Sphere’s considering they are the latest technologies? Thank you for your review.
Hi @glryang, This is a tough question and the answer would be depended on a few things:1. Your level of hearing loss, 2. How big of an issue is speech clarity for you, 3. Are you able to return the Intent and get a refund for them? When it comes to speech clarity in noisy environment, right now, there's absolutely no competition to the Phonak Sphere Infinio!
Wishing us the quick relief is meaningful bro 💜
TTTS is actually making an ugly comeback into my life recently. I was thinking to do a follow up video and talk about fighting back against all these MEM (middle ear myoclonus) syndromes, but it seems not very many people are interested in this topic. 🥺
I just posted about this. Let's see if we get some interest in this kind of video.
@HearingCare-Channel i can see that cause of how rare it is. Even tho it may not resonate with a lot of people, this vid means a lot for us affected. It's maddening having ttts and its even worse when your audiologist, therapist, and psychiatrist have never heard of it or understand wtf u talkin about. So when someone can empathize with you, it provides relief when there literally is none around 💜💯
@@k.o.6157 Reading your response almost brought tears to my eyes... How about when your own family doesn't understand you and think you're a little crazy? It took my wife time to understand this and still sometimes she have moments when she doesn't get it (when it comes to making loud noises or speaking very loud on the phone while tinnitus or TTTS is making me crazy). I'll consider your response as a big vote for a follow-up video. 😊❤
@HearingCare-Channel i also get involuntary facial jerks when the fluttering is active too. When I went in the soundproof booth the TTTS began immediately. i think because of how disorienting it is in there Hang in there my dude
