Hello! My name is Jessie. I live in Southern California and I recently graduated from UC Berkeley. I absolutely love Disney and accomplished one of my biggest goals during college which was becoming a Disney Professional Intern. I'm so excited to share more information and advice for anyone else who is interested in doing an internship too.

Exploring Tokyo Disneyland Hotels! - Day 1

We arrived to Tokyo Disney Resort, checked into our hotel room at Celebration then visited Mira Costa Hotel, Ambassador Hotel, the Ikspiari Shopping Mall and the Tokyo Disneyland Hotel. It was such a fun day and got us very excited for our next few days at the parks!

In this video, we arrived at Port Orleans French Quarter and gave a quick room tour. We absolutely loved staying at this resort! One of our nights there we visited Scat Cat's Jazz club which was a lot of fun. I also walked around Port Orleans Riverside and took the boat to Disney Springs. Then we both flew home. I was lucky enough to get to eat at California Grill at the top of Disney's Contemporary Resort for my birthday! After dinner we also visited the Enchanted Rose bar in the Grand Floridian Resort for a drink. It was so much fun ti stop by after our wonderful day at the Magic Kingdom. Marcela and I were so excited to explore all of the resort near the Magic Kingdom and around the monorail loop at Walt Disney World. Hi, I have a question, when you say they reached out to you in regards to some internship positions, did they get access to your resume from one of the other internships that you had actually applied to?
Yes, once you submit your resume it can be pulled for other positions too.
I stop asking interviewers what they’re looking for in an intern: almost every single time they’ll say something along the lines of “like I said, in the qualifications we’re looking for….”
Yeah, totally. I like wording it like “what qualities would allow someone to really excel in this role” or “ what type of person do you think would thrive on your team” etc. Leaning a bit more into personality traits or interests rather than job qualifications.
Do you work there now as an employee?
No, I don’t! My position was canceled during Covid so I work in marketing for another company now

It is a special interest group in the company. Kind of like a club that people can join and they put on internal events.

Thank you so much for this video! I recently interviewed with a recruiter for a finance internship with Disney and I think it went very well. This has definitely prepared me for the second round of interviews if I am selected.

Hey! Yeah, there are definitely some internships that turn into full-time offers. I wouldn’t say it is most people though

I have a question, is the format for the college resume the same as a graduate resume? like, I've recently graduated in May and I've been applying to places and I'm getting rejected. Hi! I’m hoping to apply for a Professional Internship in the near future. I graduate college May 2023 and would love to start an internship right after graduation! When do applications typically come out for the Summer/Fall? I would love to know when i will be applying so i can be prepared ! 🤍
Hello! That is very exciting! The internships for the summer are usually posted between November and March before . I accepted one of my summer internships at the end of February and the other one in early April. So each position will have its own timeline. I hope that helps, best of luck!
Probably so random! But how long did it from pop century to Rivera in the skyliner ? Did you have to do a transfer anywhere?
Hey! It takes less than 10 minutes on the skyliner! There is one quick transfer station near Caribbean Beach which is super quick and easy

Not in Burbank/Glendale! But they do in Orlando.
