I'm a keen mountain biker and family man. Unfortunately I'm not quite as active as I'd like to be on my channel due to studying over the last few years as well as some COVID related issues. On the plus side, I'll be finished studying this summer and can focus a lot more on uploading content. So please, bare with me if you subscribe.
At the moment most uploads will be from the GoPro app but I plan to upload greater content using a proper editing suite as I get out more for longer rides. There will be some content of my family life too.
I'll admit I'm not the fastest rider in the world but I am proficient. This isn't a channel for huge gap jumps or gnarly drops. It's an average middle-aged guy with a passion for bikes enjoying the trails with his mates. You don't need to be the greatest rider to have fun. Just ride!

August's Rollout
Once again, we hit Cramond. On the way there were spots of rain. I thought I would have to cancel but it turned out okay. A good turn out with some new and old faces.
Unfortunately, something went wrong with the SD card in my camera. most of the files were corrupt, so I only have a little footage of some of us playing around.

It was a bit wet and slippy at the start but it dried out nicely. A few scary moments with some near misses. I never crashed but I'm still broken today! Didn't realise I was that unfit... Must get out more.

Little dude shredded the beginner pumptrack on his bike while I hit the harder one on the skates. Great tracks plus a large, flat track at the side. Recommend a visit if you're ever up that way.
Wallyford's first Skate&Play

Safe to say... The first Skate&Play in Wallyford was a huge success! A lot of very happy skaters. A bit pump track and off-road action for the wee man. He needed a tow up the hill, so we tried the tow rope for his downhills. Think I might have a new trail buddy.

This ISN'T the original track, the original track from when I was a kid was smaller and the jumps & turns were bigger/higher they used to hold proper bmx bike racing back then aswell it was awesome my big brother raced in one.
I believe the original track was demolished and this was was built because the horse track was expanded. Work was done on this track in 2018/19 to repair and extend it. The start gate was added too. After the work was completed it became the longest BMX track in the East of Scotland. Unfortunately I don't think it was ever truly completed and so much could have been done with it. Including seating and a sheltered area. It's such a shame it's been left to become so overgrown.

ride here often brilliant place for all skill levels and ages . every person ive met here has time to talk to you and ive only got back into mountain biking about a year and love every minute of getting out and about there is normally about 8 of us and have a right time here also its safe for eveyone to ride how they can

You're welcome. It's an easy ride. Ben Lomond, Ben Vorlich, Beinn Ghlas and Ben Lawers are more interesting. All rideable on a hardtail and I have videos on my page of them.

It's a good trail - I like the contrasts between top and woodland bits too. Try Bonar Bridge whilst you are in the region - that's sweet.
