Shack Tour - Frabill Recon One Person Shack
Why hopefully soon?
I also have the 450 XD. It’s great, but man is it heavy!
WOW.... Love this show. I just subbed. My buddy just told me about this. Thanks for the "shout-out" for SHIFTY OUTDOORS here in Utah. We sure love fishing, and specially from the hard deck. You now have another follower. Great show.
The next thing for shacks is….flooring. Someone’s gotta be working on that. The puzzle piece gym mats are really a C+ solution to the problem.
I do a lot of fishing after work with buddies to Minnetonka to fish without a Shack. Just a sled, auger, livescope and rods. Super light weight.
So I just found yalls channel last night and I am a greenhorn when it comes to ice fishing and an amateur comes to fishing at all other times of year. This is going to be a long comment, but I’m very curious and I want to get the most out of my experience. My main questions are the following. I want to target northern Pike and walleye primarily, however, i’m not too sure what the essential gear to get started on ice fishing is so I can get out there and catch that monster pike hiding under the ice if I’m lucky I am also from eastern Nebraska so the fishing really isn’t that great and I think I wanna go to Minnesota instead to chase that first monster thank you guys so much for being yourselves and I’m so glad I found this podcast as a true newbie also I love the beer commentary at the beginning it’s helping me look into beer I never knew existed
Welcome back for season 8. I'm ready for hardwater.
Waiting for your fishing video.
One thing you forgot to mention about fluorocarbon line is that it sinks, compared to mono which floats. This is especially important for ice fishing when using the extremely light jigs.
Ohhhh! Super cool! I haven't seen one yet.
Great job guys. #413 checking in. Looking forward to the deep freeze this weekend.
Jeff is correct on the fish’s lateral line. At the St. Paul show the crappie chronicles guys were even talking about how the new live imaging technology can be so strong that it can impact a light bite and push the fish away and even being able to switch your flasher to low power can help.
Its good to be right sometimes. Thanks for listening
"Promo SM"
Sweet set up!
Thanks
Send me a couple of those rod mounts please?! Ive got same shack! Nice work!
I’ve always wanted to do something like this, did you catch any of the fish you were chasing??
it was not a great day, did not catch any but it was a nice day to be outside
These mods are amazing boys!! You should definitely do this to your setup Jason!!
How much for that lift?
Thanks guys! Great stuff for fish house listening.
U sir… genius
That is some clever shit right there
Wow Jason Mitchell as a guest! You guys hit the big time now. Always looking forward to the next episode
Love the content keep up the great work boys!!!!!
Appreciate it!!
Yeah I think it would just be easier for you to put it on a snowmobile trailer with a tilt that gave me anxiety just watching that going down.
Love the build. Dimensions, materials, plans? Great job
Bad ass !
This is finesse
WOW! i love this! brilliant design.
Do you have any plans, or material list on building this?
Great shack
Congrats on another great fishing moment!
Wow . 👌 . Smart .
Love it!
Driving back from a little fishing trip and my buddy next to me is sleeping right as you are talking about the vyper tip up and Jason said people are probably falling asleep.
Nice build👍
This is great! All my buddies thought it was hilarious.
Brilliant!!!
Shack costs more than his truck 🥺
I'll stick with my Clam popup hub shack.
Thank you Sir quick simple designed shelter & video....my future pop up camper in truck bed or trailer or both !!
Damn he has money
Do you carefully select the location of your shack to catch fish?
Practical engineering at its best.
Calling this slick is an understatement
I bet mark hauls roll off dumpsters for a living.... Or he's a tow truck driver.... Or he's just bad ass.
That is horribly inconvenient and possibly the worst idea for an ice shack I've seen. Slightly worse than mounting it sideways on a trailer and having to tip it over.
Well done Jeff, more like this please!
That's awesome
There was a guy trying to put up the walls of his hut this winter and had the same setup. The wind actually tore the top completely off while we were trying to help him. It was hilarious watching half the hut go flying for a good 100 feet
That wooks sweet!
