The settes took it for me alone with that IYS AMY routine we don’t see fast routines often and that was a master class and a damn field in the stands !! And they were clean all game GG’s over performed mostly it was a lot going on which took away from the entertainment they had nice moments though

Both squads did great, but I have to go with the Settes. Less is more. The GG's had a great stand-in zero and one in 5th. If they would have just left it at that, I would have given it to them. The other two did not hit as they should, and I think it was because there were too many stand routines. Maybe they decided to do so many since it was there last game. idk

I am not a big fan of neither team HOWEVER... the GG's held my attention and had me like OOH S#!T the entire time!!!! This battle is like Alabama A&M and ASU.. FAMU and BCU... Southern and Grambling.. You gotta come ready.. don't "GET" ready!!!!

When the band opened up! Omg!!! I ❤ how the band and GG's work together as a unit in this battle. The band has the GG's back, and the band has there's. And it shows. This is what makes not only the GG's a force to be reckoned with but the band as well. It's no division. I love the unity within them. This is why I will "Always LOVE my GG's" ❤❤❤and 💛💜 Alcorn State University💛💜"Soouunds of Dynamiiite!!" marching band.💯

I’m all for stand routines but this was an overload. It became too much and started looking sloppy for the GG’s. Plus the Settes have been walking down the bleachers for a few years. Let it go and just dance.

GGs ate them up, but honestly they normally do. Check back all the when Zee was capt forward.

It Jsettes for me. I like a routine, but not too many. The Jsettes routine was clean innovative and fast. (Something we don’t see often with stand routines). It now seems as though it’s a battle of the routines now and I just hate that so much…but I guess that’s just what it is. I also feel like for Jsettes, the biggest game is no longer alcorn..I think it’s Stingettes now. Stingettes have been the most consistent to me this year, but Jsettes came with heat last week.

The amount of time it takes to perfect a stand routine compared to just throwing 8-16 counts,then they brought 4 new routines and kept us entertained which is why ppl are saying the ggs won! We don’t care that the settes were more focused on the stings last week so they didn’t get to prepare for the ggs,this is a brand new week and a different team that’s going to always come with it

I lived for what both squads brought this game. Stand routine wise, my favorite(s) were The Show diss from the GGs and IYS Amy by Settes. I feel like the J-Settes for this game were in the position that the Stingettes were in last week. The Stingettes didn’t do too much but were clean as hell and looked traditionally collegiate for the most part. Meanwhile, the Settes brought straight heat with their routines, although had slight issues with cleanliness. I felt that the GGs had the same dilemma here, and I’ve seen them be cleaner than they were this game (no shade) but they were entertaining nonetheless and edged the Settes out in that department. 💙🤍 x 💜💛

Everybody prepares for the Settes….love the GG’s energy….but some ppl prefer simplicity over complexity….both squads ate, Settes were just the more polished collegiate squad….Amy routine is one for the books….

After last week, I thought the settes were gonna be on demon time, and I really think people have to understand that this is a new era of dance and stand routines are IN now…it’s all about the entertainment and GGs did that.

The fans/crowd has been so annoying this season. This time they are literally hold signs and flags in front of the camera … the time before that they had there phones directly in front … with the GG’s a few weeks back they were pretty much in the stands like omg … whose idea was it to give them mf flags and signs this game. 😫 😆

Jsettes prepared so hard for the stings in the stands that they forgot about the field. That’s why it was 🥴. And no team is a polished as the stings. Jsettes for the win sloppiness and all.

Settes had an amazing Zero quarter but Stings took the win. (But glad the Settes finally woke up)

I think this battle depends on what style you like personally they both did they damn thing tbh. This by far has been the best battle in a long time.

People fail to realize the difficulty of Passionette counts - we can go back over 15 years and their counts were hard back then which is why the classic counts look so up to date now - it be a lot of 1 and 2 and 3… lol. Not to mention their many different close outs or “pull outs”. As far as the uniform, I could be wrong, but I think it was a remix to an old passionette uniform from the 2010 year when Sam was captain.
