I started my yoga journey 7 years before I retired. I’m grateful I found yoga and my Ashtanga teacher when I did. My wife and I were with our amazing teacher and class mates for 5 years and even though we’ve relocated in retirement, I’m able to carry on my practice because of the teaching I received.

My garage door has not been closing…it stops before coming all the way down and reverses direction going back up. It’s been doing this for a week and has to be helped down to get it closed. The weather has been cold this past week and i just got around to fixing it today. Note: This is a screw drive opener with a geared trolly that interfaces with the screw drive.

I tried two strips of these Boldworks tiles on one side of my garage to protect the floor. Working good after 8 months so putting down two more strips for the other side.

Got lucky with some unseasonably warm weather and was able to do my Sunday travels on the Zrex.

Just changed the battery and had to blow it a kiss cause it’s been a super bike for me. Unlike my previous BMW, you don’t have to remove the gas tank to change battery. It took all of 10 minutes.

A little different perspective...camera on handlebar. This is with yet another mic set-up- RODE Wireless Me with the camera gain setting at -12 dB. Seemed to be the best setup for clear voice recording. Thanks to my son-in-law for the new mic!

Our Sheltie likes playing ball more than a juicy steak. Well…that may be an exaggeration. I think if actually tested the juicy steak would win out. He is a chow hound.

A good retired guy day includes a ride on the ZRX1100, some exercise, tinkering in my little shop with a DIY project, then a relaxing evening.

Taking advantage of unseasonably warm weather to run some gas through the ZRX1100 4 carbs. Ride through Colonial Williamsburg. I'm not hard to spot, the old guy riding around with his left turn signal on most of the time!

I had to do some disassembly of my gas fireplace to fix an issue with it not lighting. While I had the glass cover removed, I cleaned the inside with what I use to clean the inside on my vehicle windshields- Mr. Clean Magic Eraser soaked in clean water followed by wipe down with 100% cotton (must be absorbent cotton) towel. Worked great!

Just started using gas fireplace in 25 yr old home recently purchased. It worked initially and then either stopped lighting or staying lit. I expected it to be more common issues like I saw in videos with similar situation but it turned out to be a safety switch which is activated by the front glass being in place. My glass appears to have been originally installed too high due to assembly hole...
