go watch some rock bouncers in solomo... that wa wa wa is the tire loading obviously but it makes that sound because as the tire bounces and loads it changes the tone...imagine the sound wave looking and working like a shovel

Many years ago my local asphalt track had a special event competing superlate model dirt cars running on slicks against their asphalt superlate regulars. Unfortunately few dirt drivers took the challenge, and those that did finished poorly.

What material did you use to 3-D print of the parts? Would PLA be OK?

My dad designed and built a similar device to check shock absorbers for dirt cars. He called it a "shock dino".

Done this to my super stock in 1999, except I used struts on coils mounted parallel, like yours , ran 5 races with this frame, 3 wins and two 3rd place finishes, they wouldn't let me run the frame , DEW TO SEVERAL CRY BABIES, it was a ton of blood-sweat and tape measure!!!!!!!!!!!

Pavement vs Dirt , does one surface require more driving skill than the other? Dirt seems more forgiving .

Cool of you to share, I'm impressed of your mindset! Innovation is what drives civilisation forward, those who don't have the skills to adapt to change will push back against any improvement in technology. However any civilization though history that has failed, to stay on top of innovation in any part of technology in society, they domed themselves to the junkjard of history. You never know what advantage in technology that will save the day, life or death, for you as an individual or as a society. So anyone, everything & anywhere needs to be aiming for improving technology. That's the mindset of winners as opposed to the looser of the Darwin race for life.

I'd love to see more about data acquisition and telemetry off the car. How you get it, what you're looking for, how data influences decisions. Really cool to see modern R&D stuff in this application.

Having been a tech inspector the rule "interpretation" was hilarious. Been there and fought that- read the rules, not what you want them to say. BTW a interpretation outside of written text can be actionable in court. You may win but never be accepted back.
