OK, it could have been a lot better, but this is the closest to the thunderstorms we had when I first moved here 6 years ago. It's still fun for me to stand in my garage and listen to the sounds of an angry sky.

We're starting to move into late spring/early summer and the chipmunks and squirrels are very active in my yard, so of course I have to go outside and feed them so that they stay away from my house for food. They're getting more and more friendly over time and I think I'm seeing the 3rd generation of the original chipmunks now.

With fall setting in here in Florence, MA the chipmunks are stocking up on their food because once the snow comes they'll be underground until March or April of next year. They're out in full force right now.

It took me quite some time after five years of living here that I have gotten my chipmunks used to me enough that they will let me pet them while I give them some food. They're quite happy with this arrangement and hopefully, you'll enjoy the video.

I decided to sit down on the grass to see how the chipmunks and squirrels reacted to me and think this was pretty funny overall. Only got one chipmunk bite and he didn't draw first blood.

Now that we're well into spring we have new chipmunks added to our family. I think there is about 8-10 total that comes to visit me when I go outside. They will actually be following me around the backyard when I walk around and Ollie the squirrel is getting friendlier to me when I'm outside with him and not just sticking my hand out the backdoor to give him a peanut.

I apparently have a thing with my local animals and I've found that now that spring is here that the warmth makes all my little rodents more active as you will see in this video.

Now that we're into Spring in Western Massachusetts my chipmunks have woken up and are chasing out the squirrels like my buddies Ollie and Maggie. Chuckie seems to be the only one who remembers me every year as you will see in the video.

My little chipmunk buddy Chucky has come out of hibernation and has been hungry for the past few days. He was happy to see me with the peanuts and crackers I have for him. A little later on I'll have some fruits and vegetables from my garden to give him.

My ongoing life with my chipmunks and squirrels. They're very friendly in their own way, but the squirrels tend to stand back and act as referees. The 'munks, won't come up to me if Maggie or Ollie the squirrels are near.

A lot of misinformation in this video. Nickel and Nichrome are different. Nichrome is not to be used in TCR mode. Also there is no reason not to go over 450 degrees.
Appreciate your comment! Been racking my brain trying to recall certain rules pertaining to TC mode that I’ve not needed to draw on, for several years ... and this video was both painful to watch and added further confusion.

Eric, What coils can i use to replace the original Halo Reactor 50W coil? i cant find it in my country. Please help me!
You can get them directly from Halo online. They ship internationally 6-10 days for priority mail and 20 days for standard first class mail. You might want to try their new Stainless Steel coils. They last longer and if you've got a mod that does temp control like Halo's Reactor Shorty or Mega you'll enjoy the TC a lot. My next video is going to be on that.
Almost forgot. Freemax Starre coils work in the Halo Reactor tank if those are available locally for you. I'm pretty certain the Reactor tank is a re-branded Starre tank.

I just checked it with my tuner and it was C1. Just a half step off from B1 the lowest note a human can supposedly hit.

I was only on the fence about one thing, they don't tell you on the website if the Reactor has adjustable airflow. Now, I am sold!
+PageofLegend Yep, airflow is adjustable. The Tracer also has adjustable airflow, but it's unregulated. I'm glad I got the Reactor because I didn't realize that until after and having that extra control is really nice to dial in the settings perfectly for each juice.
Eric Kauschen It really is, I have a Kanger, and the amount of control with wattage, airflow, and liquid selection is crazy! I love it! I think I will probably be getting one of these too, just like I collect watches, I will probably end up collecting box mods too.
+PageofLegend The wattage and voltage are linked. There are roughly 8 clicks to the airflow, but after the second click I hardly notice any difference if you open it up further or not. My next video will be a tear down of the tank itself so people can get a better look.
You forgot to mention Halos new line of high VG juices. Which by the were designed specifically for use with the Reactor and Tracer. I hope you didn't use the standard Halo e liquid which is High PG. You never vape high PG juices on sub ohm devices. 50/50 is ok but the sweet spot is definitely 40/60 30/70 PG/VG
+GetBac TV Yeah, I did forget to mention that. Not positive, since they won't say how high their PG is on their regular formulas, but they might have changed it because not all over their flavors have a 70% VG. I am going to try one of theirs at a 3mg and I'll do a follow up after I've had a couple of weeks to play around with it.

No I was using their 70%VG with the Reactor. I've got a bottle of 3mg Prime 15 on order that I don't think is high VG. Might try it at a lower wattage and see how it goes.
+GetBac TV I just tried out their Prime 15 that isn't high VG today and I gotta say I like it. I get more flavor and not much loss of clouds. The throat hit can be a little too much at times, but you just have to not hit it so hard.

Hey Eric. Nice review on the new Reactor mod by Halo. Simple, easy to use and great for people moving away from those horribly ineffective/inefficient pen-type vaporizers. It was very easy to see how hard you had to pull on the pen unit you had up on the screen to get a hit. By contrast, the Reactor mod with a well-engineered tank and atomizer assembly is an obvioulsy much better way to go. This is easily a great box mod for a beginner's introduction into the power, simplicity and ease of use in a mod-box/tank vaporizer. Very important to Read The Instructions first and also set up the new unit on the Lowest Power Setting - First. The best way for anyone new to vaping or switching to a mod/tank is to go to an actual vaping shop with real, living human beings willing and able to help you to learn how and do... It's of great value to learn about the device, how to set it up, replace the atomizer and properly prep it before fully assembling the tank and filling it. Also: Going to a shop may allow you to see what's involved in building your own atomizers, opening up yet another world of possibilities, regarding the personalization of your vaping preferences. There's stuff to know about how to care for your batteries and charging them as well. In conclusion: Everyone ought to heed Eric's advice with regards to using lower nicotine juice when upgrading to an efficient rig like the Halo. The effects of over-doing it on nic are widely known and available when doing a search. Remember; these devices deliver large amounts of vapor, hence the satisfaction of using them. Get friendly and informed advice from a pro as opposed to YouTubing about how to get started... A much way better way to go, safer, more enjoyable and insures a pleasurable entry into the upper levels of vaping. Nice work, Eric. Very well presented!
