It is a huge mega structure located on a back road in the middle of the desert that has no population. It is huge and the placement of it seems somewhat hidden. Very strange to have a huge mega church where there are no people and no electricity poles

I was there a week ago. I just hope each winter will be consistent with winter storms where it will reach levels like in 2005. And I hope cattails and bulrush will reline the lake again.

Lake Los Angeles used to had a natural oasis spring. Real estate investors (1960-80 era) bought up lands and subsided the lots that was unsuccessful. The investors converted the oasis as a small lake that dried up. Since no one can’t afford the upkeep.
