During my NS time, I was tasks to go Pulau Tekong Kechil Island to build a Helicopter landing site. I was there for about 2 weeks with Plant Platoon from 35SCE. We stay in Pulau Tekong Island at night and travel to Kechil Island on the day by boat. Deserted island with Wild Boars and thick forest. We used out ration to lure the wild boar out from hiding. Fun experience. Morale of the story - man-make most of it.
