That explanation is not very responsible. No amount of time would single out the salt in 2 thirds of planet earth and never touch other bodies of water. Literally impossible to be true and there’s nothing to prove that. The problem with speculative science is the inability to say “ we don’t know”

In past Christian cultures, and some now, left was associated with Satan and evil. Any left-handed child was forced to use their right, correct hand. Arab culture feel similarly about left-handed ness but for traditional sanitary reasons.

You forgot the obvious: the heart is on the left side of the body -- early mothers would likely carry babies in their left arms so their heartbeat could soothe them. They still needed to cook, carry water, tend fires, etc which they learned to perform right-handed.
