Your hair is so beautiful, and I am loving the shine! I've seen a lot of ladies recommend the Chi Silk Infusion product. I'm curious to know if you think that has a lot to do with your shine, or do you think it's more your whole routine and the way you care for your hair that gets it so glossy like that? Looking forward to more of your videos.
Thank you!🤍 Products can’t create shine. Shine is created when the hair cuticle is properly closed and smoothed. Dehydrated hair causes dull hair most people think oil will add shine when oils purpose is to seal in moisture not provide it. Moisture comes from water and you have to know if you have low or high porosity hair or not which will help you understand if your hair is even absorbing the water… All in all any heat protectant will do its job. Only add a dime or quarter size amount.

What is the heat setting when you add the curls?
The lower the temp the better. I do 300 which gives a loser effortless wave.

Love you hair! Gorgeous silk press! I have type 4 hair as well so I'm torn between becoming heat trained but I still wear my high puff every once in awhile lol. Makes my face shape look so good lol but the detangling after having my hair in it's natural state is horrible.
Thank you!! What I love about being heat trained is that I don’t have to buy a whole lot of natural hair products. You save lots of time and money! You can still wear your puff heat trained too! The detangling process causes breakage so I just detangle mine once before blow drying.
Is the hair at the beginning stretched? Because to me it looks more like type 3…. Almost close to type 2.
Hey! I mentioned in the video that my hair is heat trained. That means over the course of time my hair’s natural texture has been altered/trained to remain straight even in humidity. My natural texture before becoming heat trained is 4c which you can tell by my roots/edges.

How often do you straighten your hair?
Every two weeks, it’ll last three but will become extremely oily and sweaty from me working out.

Thank you! Overall my hair stays bone straight after every workout. My roots do get puffy, but when your edges sweat don’t wipe the sweat away let it dry on its own and your edges won’t be completely ruined.
