This is the updated, official RUclips page of the Age of Steam Roundhouse Museum in Sugarcreek, OH. The museum was founded by the late Jerry Joe Jacobson, former owner of the Ohio Central Railroad, and contains his private collection of steam locomotives and rolling stock as well as others that the Museum has acquired since his passing. The Age of Steam Roundhouse Museum is under the operation of the Jerry and Laura Jacobson Foundation, a 501(c)3 non-profit entity. Jerry Jacobson 80th Birthday Commemoration
On this day, 80 years ago, our founder Jerry Jacobson was born. This video is to commemorate what would have been his 80th birthday, had we not sadly lost him in September of 2017. Our Steam workhorse, #12, creates quite a smokescreen for itself as it emerges from behind the backstop during the second half of one of our yard trips. These trips are done during our Steam to Victory event, providing guests with a chance to ride behind a fully functional steam locomotive.

Age of Steam Roundhouse Museum founder, Jerry Jacobson threw a huge party on October 13th, 2012 to celebrate the completion of the Roundhouse complex, turntable, back shop, and storage tracks.
