ATV-TALK Podcast
США
Добавлен 16 окт 2020
My father, Danny Duncan, who gave me my first ride on an ATC 90, the year 1969, got me hooked. Starting on three wheelers moving to the modern ATVs, has taken me around the world for 30 years, mostly as a mechanic, with some racing stories of my own. This gives me a perspective that will allow me to take you backwards and forward in time to talk to our ATV heroes from old and new times. Why ATV-TALK? My answer is that we all have a story to tell. Not only do I have a story to tell, but the amazing men and women in the ATV industry have stories to tell. There's no outlet, no way to tell their stories. I want to let everyone's story be heard. There are so many amazing things that happened, that the fans or the general population never get to hear. In ATV-TALk you'll get to hear about your hero. For ATV off road enthusiasts. We talk from rigid three wheelers to present day ATV's, motorcycles, and UTVs. There is no age barrier nor gender, everyone is welcome. ATV-TALK travels world wide.

I like my stiffer front with a softer rear as well 😋
THE GEN 3 MACHINE IS PRETTY COOL
25000€ in Europe😊
The digger
Great interview. It’s nice to see a young lady with such a great head on her shoulders. Pretty impressive
The only video of the legends race is from you . If it wasn’t for you I wouldn’t believe it ever happened . That’s plain out pathetic especially since it was considered “ the most anticipated race of the century “ .
Great interview Leonard! Dave is such a great guy and makes the best Blendzall 2 stroke racing castor oil too. I really hope to hear a follow-up interview at some point. I’m sure he has plenty of stories. Love your content
That banshee is beautiful
watching from Kansas.....no quad racing here tho....
Love the build but man you gotta keep the headlights on. That’s the banshee look. Oem headlights should be on all banshees.
Angela Moore was one of the sexiest women back then and still is 😍🤣🤣 she was and still is a badass
I said something about these promoters sucking and the clown from ripitup said I was always negative and this sport don’t need negativity 🤣🤣
Yes bring back the ltr450 🤟🤟🤟🤟 to fix the trans just put a billet trans in it .
Mx guys are too close minded to run anything other than small tires . I run XC wheels and clear everything on the mx track . Look at Walker Fowler clearing Godzilla on XC wheels . If the mx pros can’t run bigger tires then don’t call yourself a pro .
I love the races where for some reason the usual podium runners are out of the top spots . Every dog has his day 🤟🤟
101hp is the same as a Honda Africa Twin 1100cc. At what point are the engines goin to be tuned for longer runnin as aposed to piont an squirt heavy on the fuel runners.lower Revs but more torc.?
Hi guys. Do Rotax do a 1300cc engine as I’m lookin for something to do a Round the world tour. I’ve been thinkin about the Canam 6x6 bcs of all my gear but a bigger more stronger lump would be great. Any knowledge would be welcome. Many thanks . 🙏🙏👍👍🇬🇧🇬🇧🌎🌎
Can Am cuts a lot of corners, and real experience shows. They do a lot of presentations focused on hp, and new aesthetics, along with the electronic features, but they are not well designed or built.
Can Am’s simply aren’t built well, and quality control is a major issue. Can Am should use better quality components on their CVT P-Drive design, as they are prone to wear bearings rather quickly, engine motor mounts are already breaking on the new Can Am chassis. There are numbers of issues with Can Am in general, but the new design has some problems.
Hello there! Have you had a chance to ride the new G3? If so, I’d love to hear your thoughts. It would be great if you could list any problems you've noticed with specific details. Your first comment made me wonder if you’ve actually ridden, worked on, or seen this machine. Thank you for engaging with us!

Nice way to end Lenny. It was sure good to see you and Doug again be better to do it in person though maybe someday huh? Enjoyed the four part series did a real good job.
Beautiful machine!
Suicide awareness month. Please call 988 if you have any suicidal ideation. Please keep reaching out to your community and keep checking in. Keep showing up on the racetrack of life, you matter.
Great interview Team Blind. Keep sharing the message.
Don't be surprised if MXSPORTS drops the ATV NATIONAL CHAMPIONSHIP in a few years Inside word is that the ATV MOTOCROSS CHAMPIONSHIP NATIONALS aren't making MXSPORTS enough money to make them happy enough....
Kaylee says thanks for the shout out
Great topic, racing is complex.
Great to see Barry McCarty again after all these years. We raced at the Memphis Motorsports park in '89 or '90. I raced open pro on a LT500 (got 4th that day behind Turk & Eubanks) but had the pleasure of lining up with Barry for some hot practice laps. My hero did not disappoint. He was one fast dude...and one of the only guys still racing a Suzuki 😎 He made my day at the end of practice when he looked back at me as if to say, who the heck is that kid? Lol, such fun times.
yes it was a pleasure to see him
I love seeing the ltr450 In pro class 🤟🤟
Great interview. Awesome to hear the behind the scene which helps the riders be prepared for the show. Keep it up!
Sissy ass modern day mx clowns 🤣🤣🤟🤟
A 3 Wheeler had an issue with a truck.
NO ITWAS A QUAD
Where did old Dougie finish?
What do you guys think is the best all around dune atv ?
IT ALL DEPENDS ON YOU AND WHAT YOU LIKE ME RAPTOR 700 TRX 450R YFZ450R BANSHEE ALL FUN
Let's try to show the bikes as binky was talking about it. Thx great job
Moto 1 rear shock line broke
Some of my racing buddies from Louisiana raced V2R . They were the only three wheeler team . The 2 racers Donnie and Mike are two of the three guys who sent me to Joe Byrds riding school in 2021 after a near death accident .
If the trophy truck driver wants to be a dick , then penalize him and make him pay for the quad he hit . Unsportsmanlike conduct .
A DQ AND PAY FOR THE MACHINE WOULD BE GREAT WILL SEE
Chad will be back next year . If Joel is so great then he can do it again with Chad back on the track 🤣🤣
HE IS GOOD THATS NOT THE QUESTION WHAT WILL CHAD BE WHEN HE RETURNS
@@ATVTALKPodcast he will be his normal self
Good talk love atv;s
THANK YOU
I agree with you Leonard completely! I mean these little fans they all have to have mounted to their handlebars now 😂. Bike guys do cry a lot. I believe they rip these tracks so deep is to actually slow the 450 bikes down. I read I believe an article in 1 of the dirt bike magazines about the 450 bike were going so fast and guys where getting hurt and the industry was worried about another 3 wheeler type lawsuit, but I believe the deep Roots are hurting more guys now than anything.
i have always rooted for the underdog and for the veterans. So a 40yr old dude racing in an ltr in the pro class was my perfect match as a fan, have been following his media for a couple of years now. i personally rode my first atv at 26 and my 'golden' years were when i was around 38-39 so i totally root for this guy, loved the interview! true inspiration for us late boomers
THANK YOU AND YES HE IS FOLLOW YOUR DREAMS
I’m so glad Max is back at Weinan motorsports . Good things to come 🤟🤟
If Chad was racing this season then Hetrick wouldn’t have been undefeated . But he will be back next year and people will see im right .
what a down to earth guy, love this interview. Love the part of Wimmer coming to look at his LTR, now there's a memory lol
HE WILL BE ABLE TO TELL IT FOR YEARS TO COME
My favorite yfz450r color combo is the neon yellow and black
What’s wrong with the bolt together frame on the ds450 ? The Yamaha has a bolt together multiple piece frame and it works great .
Is sucks the only video of the legends are is on ripitups channel . The video is a bunch of edited shots of guys flying through the air . I wanted to see the most talked about and most anticipated race of the century . But all we got was a bunch of edited action shots . Jeremy Osborn did his part . But everybody else dropped the ball . It’s like nobody cared enough . If it was dirtbikes it would’ve been all over the tv and live streamed on race day . Racer tv could’ve done something . But they didn’t . Racer tv shows dirtbikes 12 hours a day 7 days a week or a bunch of classes nobody cares about . But yet what do quads get ? Where is this legends race video ? We only know of 3-5 guys who were there racing . But yet the gate was packed . If it wasn’t for the over edited video on ripitup I would say this race never happened because there’s no video . Duncan racing gave us interviews from as many guys as possible and I thank you for that .
Sxs / utv drivers are the worst on the trails
What was gust riding?
HE ROAD LTZ THAT HE AND TOM CARLSON BUILT BEFORE THE LTR
Thank you Lenard for the hard work. It is very appreciated. Great pod and great guests with a great mission. Thank them for there service .Matt “Shreddy” Banshee. 🤙🏻
Thank you! For the kind words and support!
THANK YOU
THANK YOU
When I raced the MTGP races, you feel like a stranger (because you are), when walking around town or in the grandstands. A little uneasy feeling, until you see one of the guys you race with. Then this level of calm pours over you. It's a racing family. When you know you know. Nice interview.
WHEN YOU HAVE A CONVERSATION WITH ANOTHER QUAD GUY ITS EASY
