Ey Up, Settrington lass ‘ere and thank you for sharing. And Hello to John (Sally & I were friends at school 😊). Knew Bob, he lived on Setty highstreet and was always clearing the way when there was any snow. Obviously no school bus with that snow, but me Dad still made sure I went lol and there’s a school photo of the few of us made it. I need to watch this on me computer, but one has a look of my dad (flat cap & breeks?) near Bob and the snowplough. It was a well known tale. I will have a look in his diaries. Thank you for taking me back in time for a while, happy memories 😊

16 years since I left the UK & the Micheal Davis Fowler steam ploughing gang + a Fowler road loco & trailer too . Great to see and hear these fantastic memories again. Also great how British car drivers so considerate and patient. I just can't see that happening with New Zealand drivers!! Especially JAFA's !!

That was awesome Robbie!! Great work on the filming and the back story on the engines. Well done to the enginemen too, there was a lot of up hill and down dale on that route. We had Lancashire boilers in our tin mines hear in cornwall, and of course our Cornish style too!! Moved by teams of up to 20 horses untill the traction engine took over. Great video👌

Absolutely fantastic video. A lot of thought as gone into making this both filming and roading the engine’s. Love how you have kept the sound of the two engines. It’s fantastic to hear them working.
