Shuiyun Waterfall, Taiwan , Cliff Jumping
One of the highlights of my adventures in Taiwan. Shuiyun Falls is beautiful waterfall in Miaoli County, Taiwan. Its about an hour form the Shuiyun Suspension Bridge, and definitely worth it. If you watch till the end I give a few tips on what I learned from this trip up the river. Hope you all enjoy!

Fire Mountain or Huoyanshan is located on the county line of Miaoli and Taichung. This is unique mountains surface is made laterite which gives it the orangish red color. Add in some erosion and you have these jagged peaks that you could stare all day. The hike to the top is around 45 minutes with an elevation 596 meters (1955 feet). This is Sanshan Nan River in Hualien, Taiwan. It's about a 40 minute hike from the parking lot along the river. We stayed around an hour and half because of the rainy weather coming in. There are few good rocks to jump from and the water is crystal clear. The trail kept going along the river but we decided this was far enough for our first time here.

This hotspring is in Taroko National Park. It’s found as Wenshan Trail on google maps. The hike down is 15 minutes to a green suspension bridge then down the stairs that have been carved out by cavemen (joking). There are 5 pools along the river that will fit 1 to 2 people. I started my trip from Dongmen Station on the red line. Transferred to the brown line at Daan Station and rode 7 stops to Xihu station. This is my trip to Kenting in May of 2021. I started in Hsinchu City and took the TRA train to the High Speed Rail Station in Zhubei. This is Hehuanshan National Forest in Taiwan. We left on a Friday night and got there at midnight. We slept in the car at Wuling Parking Lot and started hiking at 8 AM.
