I managed to play around with mine for about a week and couldn’t get it to work. I couldn’t even get my pc to recognize it to reload software. I fixed/set the date, and it magically worked again. Go figure. Hope your troubles are as easy fix as mine was.

Had the same issue, resolved by connecting the NX300 via USB to my MAC, opened Samsung ilauncher and uploaded firmware update. Once completed open format in the camera menu and update body firmware. This worked for me :)

same problem with my CS918. It was working but suddenly remove hdmi cable cause hdmi out problem. It is totally waste of time, my money has gone to garbage.

@Joe Intel Atom has worked wonders for me for years, running Xubuntu, then Debian, then Arch Bang (because it's easy to install, and comes with my basic favorite programs). This is on a 2010 netbook, Atom 1.6Gz, 2-hyperthreads (single-core). And for processing tasks, it's blazingly fast on Linux. But of course most 3d games are out. But I wanted it for mobility, and C++ development, and it worked great for that. The only complaint is that it's not very fast for browsing, even though I have great Firefox addons to block scripts and ads. It's mostly thanks to the bloat in Firefox's software design, and regular code-bloat. So I blame it on Firefox (though it's the only browser that will do for me). It's not slow, but it should be snappy like Opera! So I often use Dillo, when the site can be displayed well enough -- then it's blazing! So don't compare a laptop with a netbook, as they really can serve you well, if you want mobility, and just use it for work/development and browsing. Oh, and with Mplayer, watchin HD movies! The first time I discovered the power of Linux was when compiling my prime number generator and running it... it was like it just calculated regular addition and multiplication, so it was a x 10-20 increase in speed. And that was in comparison on the same netbook, with a cut-down version of W XP.

The first step you have to do is to upgrade your ram from 1gig ram to 1.5 (if you can). Windows 7 is not recommended for this laptop. if you need windows you have to install windows xp and then install all the drivers manualy. But i recommend to install linux. Just install Linux Mint Mate x86(32 bit) edition (the latest not the LTS). Linux mint is bugy on this laptop but in the next 2 days i ll post a new video and tutorial hot to fix the problem. Upgrade memory-install mint-wait for my tutorial
