Excellent location, not in a flood or tidal surge zone, says the guy from Florida. The house would be a nice seasonal residence. The main kitchen living room area has one AC unit. I am not familiar with the climate there but that seems inadequate. Neither apartment had an AC unit and nor much cross ventilation, if any. AC in the guest house? A small point of word definition. If you need to flip a switch to raise and lower the storm shutters, that is manual, not automatic, even if powered. P. S. Storm shutters, a fantastic feature.

Wow! Brings back so many memories. I was 5 years old when I experienced Hugo on St. Croix. Our entire house was destroyed except for the closet and bedroom all 6 of us huddled into. I’ll never forget that. People in the US can’t understand the intensity of a category 5 hurricane. Once our house was rebuilt we moved back to the Midwest. No hurricanes here, but I will always miss the beautiful ocean and island life.

Does anyone remember my parents ? Ivan and Vicki Boyer. They had a Christian bookstore and my dad played chess, spear fished and scuba dived. . I had an older brother, Darren , who was probably 10-11ish , maybe 12 i need to do the math but we got evacuated on his bday , oct 18th. We had a rottweiler and german shephard , Kelly and Pepper. Lol sorry these are my memories being a toddler to go by. Also had a delinquent uncle who got kicked off the island, Brian Boyer ... He was prob around 18ish , i think it was pretty bad why he got kicked off. I was just a 2 yr old with curly blonde / strawberry blonde hair. Just curious if anyone might recall us and be interested in chatting, im here for it ! I ended up in foster care , my mom got very early onset Alzheimer's, and so much is patchy what i can extract from the family. But i wonder about things !
