Rob performed songs as George Michael in Bath and again, went down a storm with the audience up and down the front dancing from the second song! A fabulous evening. The mix of two songs Papa from Temptations and Killer from Adamski was released by George in 1993. Here, Rob does the song justice and we all enjoyed singing along and dancing to it.

Just a snippet of the amazing song, “Shine a Light”. The concert was amazing, Paolo was on great form and seemed to enjoy the venue. I loved the light shining around the audience during this one. The crowd were friendly and respectful - even though the woman’s hair in front of me kept messing up my videos! 😅

The last song (before the encore ) was Candy. This is just the last bit and his finish. This song never gets tired and his voice is amazing. The lights looked great and it was a treat to be there!

As he always does, Chesney got the crowd at App-Fest, in a party mood with a mix of his own songs and well known covers. He is one of the highlights of this family festival and well loved by all. His brother Jodie plays drums too! Drinks being thrown and the audience jostling, as Chesney “Predicted a riot” and a fall on the floor finale by the man himself made this a memorable live set! App fest attendees were fortunate to have been able to catch Skinny Living, who performed many songs. The band name, Skinny Living, describes the financial reality and lifestyle of the working class- hard graft on a low income with a lust for life, passion for family and an optimistic attitude about the future. It was the first time I’d heard the band and I was impressed!

John Springate surprises Fab208 and joins the band to celebrate with lead singer, Alan Longbottom (John) at his birthday celebrations. The gig was at The Horseshoe in Downend, Bristol.on Sunday 28th April 2024 John Springate is the original Bass guitarist and vocalist in the 70s Glitter band. The two have been friends for many years. A great event that many of us will remember for a long time.

Great song from the Beatles, ‘Rubber Soul’ album of 1965. As the Fab Twins explained, the song was written by Paul McCartney about his troubled relationship with Jane Asher. Although, a lesser known song for most, the pub audience enjoyed it.
