As a famous internet critic would put it. "And so, Medusa has been defeated. Under the wing of the Goddess of Light, Pit has defeated the Underworld. The world is now saved and they all lived happily ever after......................... *_OR DO THEY?!?!?!?!_* 1:05
Even after all these years, ALL THESE YEARS, his voice actor remains 100% unmatched. Without sounding deep, he NAILS the malevolent voice without contest. It's truly astonishing to me. Though I am obsessed with Rick Wasserman's voice acting for Amon in Starcraft 2 Wings of Liberty, Stuart Scott Bullock with his voice of Hades is thE greatest I have ever heard for the rendition of the primary antagonist.
And it was at this moment that a fun, enjoyable game revealed itself as a hilarious, unique masterpiece. These fake end credits are one heck of a twist for probably one of the funniest Nintendo villains ever created!
The sheer panic in Palutena’s voice when Hades mentions making another Medusa can show just how much of a threat Hades is making a fake that’s so strong it was considered “the final boss”
I played this game from my brother’s 3DS and I went in completely blind. All I've seen of this game before was Chuggaaconroy’s playthrough of chapter 20. Once I got to this point, I knew there was more to the game (though I didn't specifically know what), and I think I figured we’d be looking for Dark Pit. But then Hades came outta nowhere and said screw you.
You know how in a lot of games they start with an amazing villain for the story but then about halfway through or near the end of the story mode, they kill off that villain and replace them with a villain that's mediocre at best? Well this... Is the exact opposite. Props to you Kid Icarus. No but seriously when is the next game coming out. I want more stuff as shocking and awesome as this.
If Palutena knew who Hades was and that he was the true leader of the Underworld, why didn't she warn us before?
This dude was too fabulous and FUNNY to stay in just one game or out of smash.
Best. Character hands down

2:08 I still love that his expression here is just "damn, I respect it."
i love this cause he really did make medusa look like a cuddly bunny
They had us in the first half, not gonna lie!
Medusa: I f**king hate you! Hades: I knew.
Hades appears!
Sakurai : "Everyone is here" "Now wait just a second"
For the next Smash game, Nintendo should do a trailer for a character no one wants but then pulls the rug and make it a Hades character reveal. XD

1:13 Hades breaks the 4th wall?
Dude doesn't just break the forth wall, he _shits_ on it in this game.
The Prince of Darkness from Ridley Scott's Legend + Disney's Hades= Kid Icarus's Hades

Hades has big Tim Curry energy

Even when I first played this when I was I kid I was not stupid enough to think it would end after 9 chapters so I knew something was up
DANG IT is not over the game by the credits

And the award for best plot twist villain goes to...
Hades is a hilarious and likeable villain. But he’s still cold and callous.

Hades is one of my favorite bosses of all time
1:14 hades infernal theme
"I thought I saved the world. But instead, all I got was this club that looks like a skyscraper..."
Zeus violates mortal women = Good guy. Poseidon violates mortal women = Good guy. Hades rules the underworld = Bad guy.
This is the first result I get for “Kid Icarus go home”. Can someone please direct me to that?
This was a top 10 moment in my childhood
Imagine a direct ending like this
Welp, people will ready up the "react" compilation, shame we will have to wait
Possibly the greatest antagonist I've ever seen

He puts James Wood's performance in Disney's Hercules to complete shame.
Hades has to be one of the best villains in video game history. His charm is addictive
I want him in smash
