You had to work at a course full time to be eligible to do this tight? 400 hours ?
You do not have to actively be working in golf to take the PGA PAT. Most do but I’m over 40 so I wasn’t when I did this.

You can buy a new remote any sync it up to the speaker

Now you have 9 years to complete 3 years worth of "schooling" to attain Class A-1 (if Head Professional is your goal) or A-12 as college or university golf coach. Not easy if you have a family and obligations but not impossible which is why they give you 3 years to complete each of 3 levels and a total of 9 years to finish the program. I think the PAT was the easiest thing to pass!!
Can this device measure in meters and does it have Ceres golf Course in South Africa as a loaded course?
Just got the Bushnell GPS Speaker for my BDay. Does the removable button act as the gps or is it off the phone.
That button is what is needed to make the speaker tell you the yardage from the speaker. So you dan put it in your pocket or buy a belt attachment for the button. Or leave it on the speaker. But the speaker does it all. The button again will make the speaker tell you you are 150 yards or what ever from the middle and so on.
So the phone is what is “marking” the GPS yardage. The button just activates the speaker. I never walk up to a T-Box with my phone, I leave that in the cart. So wherever the cart stops is where the yardage will be from. Thank for your video. Very informative

Did you not end up using the armlock after all?
What do you do for work now and are you continuing to work in your current line of work while going through the PGM program? I am looking to switch careers and become a PGA professional (something I should have done a long time ago) but trying to navigate how all that comes together. My son has brought my passion back to life when he decided to learn how to play last summer and has now made his high school golf team a year later. I dove back in with him last summer to teach him and now realize this is my direction. Could you share your process to this point in taking the classes/seminars etc and how the work experience part is going as well? Thanks in advance

Good for you to stick with it! I remember those tournament days and starting out with a triple bogey once or twice... I think you are honest, and could I ask which state you chose to take your PAT in? and what season had you played in?

@annah2943 fall is the best time since we have long winters here. Gives you time to get the rust off and prep. Since then I've continued working on some swing changes and now my games sharper than ever.

Dang, 42 is my best 9 ever. I'm grinding to try and get to the level of taking the PAT. Went from shooting 120s-80s, in just a few months, pretty consistently. Just a few strokes to go....Congrats Mark.

Where is the distance from? Is it measuring from the button, speaker or phone?
Speaker. The button just forces the speaker to announce a yardage
@@markthegolfaddict9051 so if you're playing a course that is card path only you need to take your speaker with you to your ball?
@Marty Seed yes. Or else you would get a yardage from where the speaker located not your ball.

My wingman is not charging do you have any suggestions because I charged it for two days and like it literally stays on read it did not turn green😮
I'd try a new charger. Also the small remote does not charge. It takes a battery
Mine wasn’t charging either. It was still under warranty, after talking with Bushnell they sent me a packing slip to send back.
Mine won’t charge either. Sent it back to bushnell still under warranty. They say the micro usb is broke and will not fix it or replace it. Offered me 25% discount on a new one. I’m calling BS. There are at least 10 pages of negative reviews on their own site referencing this exact issue. My stuff is not abused or used hard. I’ve never had a USB port fail on anything I’ve ever owned. Won’t be supporting them in the future.
Played this past weekend with a buddy who had a range finder. It was always within 2-4yrds of the finder. Never tested inside 100yrds because that part of the game is blended with art. After a little 4 wheel driving for a shanked ball it only slid down the golf cart frame a few inches. Overall a fun decent product. Haven’t compared it to any other “golf” speaker. Also agree the app isn’t user friendly but after a round it starts to make more sense. Thanks for doing the review.

1.4 when I took it. But it plays so different than a normal stroke play event.
How do I keep it from ringing through the speaker when my iPhone is on silent?

@@jenny1308 no standard but there are keys to follow. No one swing I'd identical. It's a mix art and science.
Not trying to be negative. I appreciate the review but your impact position is still poor. No forward shaft lean at all. Not sure that device works, although I just ordered one any way after watching a different review
Your correct. The user still needs to do the work. But it has helped with my overswing and added consistency. Not on tour obviously but anytime I can shave strokes off my game I'll take it.

I met Bill through a friend in Reno in 2018. Guy is a great guy, and brilliant when it comes to physics as related to golf. His inventions, Lab putters and Facit, are no joke. They honestly made a positive change in my golf game. The people at LAB are great as well. Customer service is excellent, which is a dying trait in modern businesses from what I'm seeing. Anyway, Bill is as genuine and personable as he seems in this video. I'm very happy he is doing so well.
I could spend a week, nonstop learning from him.
@@markthegolfaddict9051 I'm in contact with Bill numerous times every week. He's so dang smart that he sometimes explains things to me that he skims over because to him, the thoughts are extremely basic. Unfortunately, for me, the info is upper-level and I oftentimes am left with my head spinning trying to understand what he's talking about. In addition to his talents in club building / designing, the dude is a very high end golf instructor. I sometimes feel bad for not improving more quickly, since I've got one of the best instructors in the world helping me.
