Most cheap turbos need oil restrictors if its not integrated stops the pressurized oil getting past the seals, and keeps the oil pressure up in the engine and head

Definitely user fault! You cant just install a turbo and let it run lol. I know because i kolled one also like that! Trust me ,nothing problem with maxpeedingrods turbo or any chinese turbo which had ballanced especially if its ballance out. What you have to check is your oil pressure. If is not higher than 6-7 bar then dont use restrictor! You have to!!! Port out the wastage port under the flap/coin because the hole to small ,so gonna get turbo surge which will kill your turbo. Did you check the drain pipes if the oil draining without resistance or pressure back in the oil pan? Its should drain only by gravity.

Looks like ur oil levels are low

Even expensive turbos will struggle with that angle long term. You really want the CHRA to have the oil fill and drain as close to vertical as possible, with at most a 15° offset, and thats according to Garrett. I cant imagine any turbo would be happy that, much less one thats on the cheaper end.
