Can you make a video about Brightin Star 35mm F0.95?
I can’t afford any lenses right now but i’d love to test it out for sure
@ maybe they can send it to you for free for testing only
@SebastijanStanivuk i wish they would
i dont know what to buy, Viltrox 27mm f1.2 or Laowa 33mm 0.95, what is your advice?
I never tried the Viltrox, so I can’t really say. Personally I love the 35mm focal length though
I tried it multiple time in the past and it took me way to long to do... i'll look into another solution
I guess not everything works for everyone 🤷♂️
Nice video 👍
@@stigfloberghagenphotography thank you ✌️
@kaspergaram 🙂👍
Musicbed does not have monthly subscriptions. They provide annual subscriptions, paid monthly or annually.
So I'm looking for a fairly cheap entry-level mirrorless camera for travel and family photos & video (~$1000 USD for camera + basic kit zoom lens). If I have to have a trade-off between IBIS and phase detect autofocus (Panasonic is one of the only mfrs. to offer the former but not the latter in the sub-$1000 range; all the others seem to offer phase detect autofocus but not IBIS), which would you say is the better choice?
@@ebinrock i’d say you don’t need IBIS. Good AF is way more important for me personally
Thank youu!

Thank you brother. You saved my too many hours.
How do I take a video in english and get subtitles in Mandarin? I'm trying to add my videos to Rednote but I can't figure out how to get mandarin subtitles.
You should try exporting the captions to .srt from Premiere, then open it in a text editor software, copy-paste the captions in to ChatGPT and ask it to translate it for you. It may mess up the timecodes though, so try to work on the prompt so that it gets it right
@@kaspergaram That's what I ended up doing, it worked to my knowledge
Hey there! Just created a video about this, you can check it out here: ruclips.net/video/7nGGnyOxKCg/видео.htmlsi=u_XQ9HJwTnryEwn4

I'm actually working on a video like that too. That's a whole different process, and not a part of this video, so that's why I didn't explain it here. Short answer: Use ChatGPT :)
Hey there! If you didn't yet find help, I now posted my video about this that could help you out: ruclips.net/video/7nGGnyOxKCg/видео.htmlsi=u_XQ9HJwTnryEwn4

Please advise should i opt for sigma 85 1.4 on my r6ii or this lens is ok image quality wise. I am tired waiting for the Sigma RF versions for Canon mount
This has an excellent image quality. Sigma lenses are incredible, but I don't think you would be disappointed in this one either.
Great tutorial! But it looks like the Solid Composite Effect has been deprecated. Do you have a workaround?
Oh dang! I'm sorry but I don't at the moment. I may have to update the tutorial for 2025.
Videoing with Canon r52 you cannot use Ibis with 8K 50p. Canon R5 series marketed well button for video it really is garbage
@@AWilliamsfilm i wouldn’t say ”garbage”, but it has limitations. Most cameras can’t do 8K at all to begin with

@@PazaninSime yeah I wouldn’t buy the R8 either. Definitely not for my needs. I do see a potential target audience for this camera, but it’s not a very big audience 😅
@kaspergaram I regret a day when I bought it. Hahha now it is mine for life, you cant sell it..
@ always, always get one with a return policy so you can test it out before keeping it. I know it’s not possible in most places, but always look out for those stores
Does it over heats while taking continuous photos???
@@godlyrobert3662 didn’t test that, but i also didn’t have any overheating warnings in photo mode
What do you mean it's not a pro camera? It's a "small" pro camera with many better video specs than the ultra-expensive Mega pro R5.
@@tobiascrow2792 small battery, one memory card slot, no mechanical shutter. It really is not a pro body
In my opinion the R8 is a very strange camera. It's a full frame camera yet it's only 24.2 MP, they attempted to streamline the overall appearance of the camera body but in doing so removed useful features like the knob that even the older R10 (which I own/use) had and a lack of dual SD slots. To this day I still don't understand the overall purpose of this camera.
Hahah I completely get you! It's aimed at a weird market of people who want to go full-frame, but are still beginners that don't need anything else from their camera. As for the 24.2MP, I don't see that as an issue. There are benefits to having less megapixels too, and you can easily print a fairly large image with 24.2MP.
Not until they make full frame lenses it won’t!
@@WJGrundy still waiting for that ✌️
So I have it for months now.. Battery life in CLOG mode lasts 15 min!!! It is a camera for winter, it overheats on sunny day in 10 min it is useless above 20° It is a camera for photo only, do not buy it for video, buy fx30 if you are on budget
Yeah I am not a fan of the R8 either. Haven’t tried the FX30 though
It is good practice to discard the first 3-4 drops of the solution in the plastic vial. The nature of manufacturing form-fill-seal vials such as these always leaves a few small particles near the tip of the vial.
@@LM-il2ox that’s a very good tip!
Hey I have a question for you because I own a full frame R5C and a super 35 C70. I didn't realize how bad I was going to need a wide-angle lens until I got the C70. I do have a speed booster and a second generation 16 to 35 EF lens. Although the images rather soft and it becomes hard to match my other camera. I'm wondering if you ever found a solution to this wide-angle issue because I am in between just financing the 15 to 35 RF and maybe getting this lens to actually save my finances.. If anyone has any advice please drop it below and thank you very much
@@PizzlesTechTime if an f4 is enough for you, I’d take a look at the 14-35mm f/4 as that is a wonderful lens. If not, then the options in the wide and are, sadly, very limited at this time
@kaspergaram yeah I feel like I am a snob with lenses. I put myself in debt buying L series lenses. Usually the 2.8 or better. I purchased the 50 mm 1.8 STM from Canon and I was very unimpressed. So right now I am considering a third party EF or RF lens. I can also finance the RF 16 and 35 2.8 but I haven't watched any reviews on it yet. I've just seen people leave glowing reviews on it
@ i feel you 😂 I’d love to have only L-glass but there’s not enough money in the world for that. The RF35mm f/1.8 is my absolute favourite lens right now. I’ve done several trips abroad with just that one lens. Absolutely love it. Haven’t tried the f/1.4L though, so that would probably beat the 1.8. When it comes to the RF 16mm f/2.8, I’m not a fan, but there are really no other options
@kaspergaram yeah I saw a lot of people complaining about the new RF lenses and the whole imperfection thing. As long as the camera will correct it and it doesn't crop in on the image too much, in my book it's okay. Yes I do have one of their hybrid lenses I have the 24 to 105 2.8 z. I would love to have all of the hybrid lenses. The prime lenses do look amazing but it is really hard for me to keep one focal length.
@@PizzlesTechTime that’s common with modern lenses on all brands. They make them ”worse” and then correct digitally. Makes the lenses cheaper and smaller. Also, most lenses will show the stated focal length after the corrections, so for example optically the 16mm is around 14-15mm, and after the digital corrections it will show a 16mm area
maybe it's me but the speed of speech raised my blood pressure. lol thanks for the list!

I would have totally considered that DJI Mic Mini since I already have the Osmo Pocket 3 which is great and I like the mic and sound quality. I did however pick up the Hollyland Lark M2 Wireless Lavalier Microphone which cost less and their foot print is even smaller than the DJI and the sound is also quite good. I tested it against the RODE wireless go and they sound pretty much the same. Smaller mics are great!
@@garfieldmtify the Lark M2 is on my scope too. Would love to test it out against the DJI. It looks so good 👌👌
THE DJI Mic Mini is an incredible little wireless mic! 😍 I am very impressed by it, but it has a few flaws too. What do you think, is this the right choice for you? 🤔 Buy one here: amzn.to/3BGVEtt
I don't like wireless mics because I hear 'sssss' so much. How do you think?
@ personally I prefer shotgun mics boomed above the person, so I agree with you. Sometimes that’s just not the most convenient option, and that’s why a wireless mic is the better option in some situations
@@kaspergaram Shutgun isn't good for Vlog, outdoor, when you need to move, so choose lavalier microphones and recorders like Zoom f3.
@@nickdual no obviously it’s not good for that. That’s where I’d prefer a wireless mic than a recorder, but that’s just personal preference in my opinion. You surely can get a lav mic with a lot better quality than a wireless mic like the DJI Mic Mini, but many of the wireless mics also have a mic input so you can plug in that lav mic there. I much rather have the audio going straight in to my camera to the video file than have an external recorder that takes a separate audio file, but I agree that a high quality lah mic would be much better than the mic of these wireless mic systems
