You are a very thorough and highly competent home inspector. I'm one as well in Canada.
Something I’m not sure I’m understanding. If we send over the agreement for the client to sign which explains our limitations fairly well almost to the point that if somebody sent me that agreement I would just say what’s the point of a home inspection?… But if we send over that agreement which will protect us in a court of law, why do we repeat that agreement by entering all types of disclaimers on the report we give to them?
Because no on reads the agreement, plus now you can tell the judge you told them twice. lol I understand your point though. To each their own.
@@cypressinspections9324 well I can say if the report limitations are not word for word exactly how the agreement is written, the agreement will be tossed. Probably best to just report the faults found and rely on the agreement for protection against ding-bats
