So many things wrong with this attitude: 1, For the gates of Hell to fail they have to be on the defensive. With all the modernism in the Church are we on the offensive against Hell? Those practicing Tradition are the ones on the offensive. 2, While Hell will never prevail souls are still being lost. Are we going to sit back because Hell has already lost and allow souls to continue being lost?! 3, Do you attend the TLM, the true Mass? Some 'conservatives' in the Novous Ordo think that they are traditional. 4, This is not about Church politics. It's about exposing the lies that distract us from the true Mass. It's about the Mass, and for Catholics that's everything. 5, So we are not supposed to know who the Judas is?! Even when they're blatantly preaching heresy, we should just keep quiet? 6, .... I don't think the Bad Things should be ignored. The thing is parts of the church, governments, Media, Organisations and companies are infiltrated. They are Not working in the interest of their employers. This is Overall and effects all people and its getting worse and worse. By ignoring there will be no Change. Several bishops are talking about Free masons. Media does a Lot of Manipulation, which helps to Support wars, helps to give people genetically modified substances to people. There is a solution to all this which traditional Catholics have known for decades. The consecration that Our Lady of Fatima asked for was not done specifically to her request by 4 Popes now. The wording was changed and it was not done in union with all the bishops of the world. We should have seen Russia's conversion by now with a time of peace and a complete restoration of the Church. There were reliable witnesses to these consecrations since they wanted to say with certainty that it was valid which wasn't the case. Rosaries must be more fervent for this intention.

Focus on personal holiness and growing in love of God and neighbor and in doing so you will be doing your part in uplifting the Church and participating in the redemption of the world. Pray and sacrifice for each other. Let God take care of the rest. When the new Mass was introduced, most felt bound by obedience including my mother. They didn't like it, but Rome had them right where they wanted them which was through ignorance and blind obedience. Had they known that 6 Protestants collaborated with Bugnini in making the new Mass there would have been an uprising for sure. Those who knew better left and found the TLM of Archbishop Lefebvre.

Amen. People forget this is nothing new. The Holy Spirit has been guiding the church for almost 2000 years ago. I almost fell into the fake trad cult. Some of my fake trad friends are always angry.

Well you may not care, but this whole facade from Francis will have caused souls to have been lost. Many Catholics look up to the Pope and rightfully expect both moral and religious standards. Sadly this Pope is failing in his duties and leading souls away from the righteous path. I for one expect the right directive, and for the Pope to suggest any sin is acceptable is wrong. Our Lady has repeated asked that Catholics pray for the Church, but your narrow minded attitude suggesting everything will turn out okay falls way below the mark, we as Christians should, and must help the Church survive. Amen. The rosary is like the highlights of the entire gospel. You don't always have a bible with you, but you can almost always pray scripture by praying the rosary.

I don't think it is that simple when it comes to seeing the health of a person. Genetics can play a huge role. There are very fit martial artists who get overweight in later years simply because of metabolism. Likewise, some are very skinny or even muscular but are not fit. The true test is to see if the students, or, especially the teacher, has stamina. If they are out of breath from 30 seconds, for example, of cardio then clearly they are out of shape. For style it depends on the school as you said. Aikido is taught to Japanese cops and they must become proficient in it as part of their training. And Taikwondo is taught to body guards in some countries. Kali is used sometimes in teaching special forces. Whatever the style is it has to be tested out, at least once in a while in a more intense application to make sure that it works. But the slow learning definitely has an effect which helps the faster application testing. For example, Wing Chun slow drills help you to become confident in the moves until they become engrained in your muscle memory. I had tried classes for a few weeks to see if I liked it. I remember being surprised when a friend jokingly attacked me and I did a bunch of hand movements without thinking. And it worked. When I say 'without thinking', I don't mean that my conscience was not involved. What I mean is that I didn't have to reason out what I was going to do to defend myself, because within that quick decision of saying yes to self defense, my body reacted based on the drills. Imagine what years of proper training would accomplish.

I think it was St Gabriel Possenti of Our Lady of Sorrows who said the keep playing pool quote. That saint saw his half of his path of salvation to be in strict obedience to the rule of life of his religious order that he was to take vows for. Since he was obeying the rule by participating in recreation at the proper time then what else could he or should he be doing at the end of the world? He should always live as if Jesus could come back at any moment. His life story is really amazing. I agree completely about the constant bickering about the leadership in the traditional movement. It is what led me to no longer consider myself a traditionalist. Everything good in the Church comes from Tradition - so as long as I am trying to be faithful than I am traditional. But lack of fidelity to the Holy Father and dishonouring our Father, the Vicar of Christ, is as untraditional and unscriptural as you can get. When I started to see those fruits I then saw what the pope was worried about when suppressing the Tridentine mass. I love all forms of approved liturgies. But living in the west can be funny at times. As you said, we have access to the sacraments daily. But to us it just isn't good enough. We make excuses and claim we can't go to daily Mass unless it is in Latin or unless it is the extraordinary form. Yet where people are being martyred for the faith and doing missions they would never think about complaining about the form of the Mass which gives them so much courage. Attend the form that you prefer if you can. But don't bash other forms of the Mass. Beauty speaks for itself. In all honesty though I have come to prefer the Novus Ordo after thinking about the issue for quite some time. I like them both but prefer the ordinary form. I trust that the Holy Ghost moved the Church to reform the liturgy for these times. And as beautiful as the Tridentine Mass is, the devil pretends to be light and offers a false solution through schism. Martin Luther was disobedient in saying Mass in a language that he was not permitted to do so. And now people wish to do the same thing in the reverse way. The devil uses a two sided coin when attacking. Satan doesn't care whether you are a modernist or a rad trad, but only that you reject the faith in some way. Rejecting the pope is rejecting the faith. Anyway, what a beautiful story of martyrdom. Thank you for sharing.

I used to be very scrupulous about which Little Office to pray because I wanted to do the right thing. But confidence in God helps improve scrupulosity. Any approved version is pleasing to God. Choose whichever one suits your state in life the most. A benefit of the newer one is that it has a day of the week cycle is short and to the point. Long can be good but also overwhelming for many.

I have sort of a strange suggestion. We live in a time where so many of us are addicted to media with our technical devices. I fall into that trap from time to time. I really wanted to start praying the rosary at one point but felt overwhelmed by my lack of attentions span. I decided it was best to not focus on where I wanted to be but instead to work with what I had in that present moment. And what did I have? I was so enslaved to the screen that the only thing I could think of was that I could pray a decade whenever I needed to get up from my chair or between episodes. And you know what? It worked. I found myself praying 15 mysteries consistently. I am not recommending enslavement to the screen. But just that if you face that same issue, consider working a good interior life, or the start of one, into your day however you can. It might sound ridiculous but it really does help. And that way, if you are freed from it by God's grace you will already have the practice of praying a little and can take it to the next step. God bless.
