There have been only 2 Leica M cameras even made: the film M3 and the digital M8. All the rest were improvisations and "aids" aimed to satisfy customers with little rangefinder experience and skills.

Does any adapter allow focus bracketing? Fringer adapter and EF 100 2.8 macro on GfX100ii does not work.

It would be more adequate to compare the M10 with M9.

It is better to compare the M9 because the FF sensors, but the different technologies and similar resolution.

I have always stayed away from Leica, so this was a great instructional video. Thanks! I shoot a lot of med, and large format in film, and a Fuji xt3 in digital for small format. This video caught my eye, as I wanted to see if there was anything I might be missing. Honestly, and I mean no offense, I feel like I was getting comparable images from my Fuji X Pro 1, and the xt3. I believe the real draw for me, if the wonderful Leica glass, but even today, that may not hold as strong as in the past. I have mostly been a B&W shooter my whole life, so the color rendition is good to know about, but Leica glass is so tack sharp. I believe it competes with my med format gear. Thanks for sharing this video…

The location where this is shot is one of my favourite places in Istanbul. Really good comparison between the two.

I shoot the 135mm f/2 and a $75 70-300 Canon I lens on a Kipon adapter. Works fine. Not the fastest autofocus, but considering they’re used for portraiture and daytime use for the zoom (at the zoo mostly)… they’re fine. And compared to GFX lenses (I own the 35-70 and the 50mm)… do not break the bank at all.

How do you charge the Camera?

Fujifilm GfX series is much affordable than leica M series or Q3, and the camera body series of GFX 100S is similar to leica SL series, and same weight. Reasonable to get fujifilm if you really need that medium format and get bigger prints.

So are you saying GFX 50s is the best bang in the bunch for the price?

Are we see here decline in manufacturing quality? Course I have that XF 16/1.4, I bought it almost immediately after the launch, and it's sharp across the board, with only a bit of PF wide open...

Nice Video. By the way, where do you get that lens hood? What is the size of the lens hood? I also own the 40/2 and want to buy a new lens hood. The original rubber hood is very fragile. Thanks.

And even if I shoot without viewfinder, the field of view always matches what I want and what I notice…

My favorite lens though I don’t own many M-lenses with my flat wallet… It beats the Voigtlander 35 Ultron II in my heart, because the 40/2 has little to none barrel distortion! But the ultron has noticeable barrel distortion.

That music drove me away after 50 seconds.

Camera is great, Istanbul is amazing! But what’s up with this overexposed footage, funky colors and strange photo processing choices? Maybe that’s an artistic vision… but seems a little bit distracting 🤷‍♂️

i am looking for the best travel camera and street photography camera. I can’t decide between the XPro3 and the Leica M10…it is so hard… Used I get the Leica for 4.000, used I get the Fuji for 2.400 inclusive lenses. The price is a big factor, but yeah, the other is Leica… Please help me😂
