Ungo is useless when you use gokan, gokan saved me from that fatass drunk

I know this is a year late... But I do use those sugars, very helpful in prolonging fights while learning the bosses' patterns. I only use Ako when I feel like I am already familiar with a boss' patterns, while I use Yashariku on bosses that I have memorized the patterns.

It’d be neat if he held the mortal blade in one hand and his normal sword in the other for the Gokan sugar. Since the rest are basically exact recreations of the positions in the icon of the candies

This may be because they are twins. Think of the "Yashariku's spiritfall" item, it tells you that Yashariku could have had a twin but he died "in utero" and that the lack of his presence is probably the reason of Yashariku's demise to "the palace nobles". If you see it that way, it's highly likely that Ako and Ungo are twins in the same fashion.
