Dude if a 1/4 inch impact driver can take your lugs off, they’re not tight enough. If you don’t have an impact wrench, make sure you tighten those with a long ratchet.

I had the same issues with my 61" model. When cold, the right side is very grabby but that smooths out when it warms up. And the rods are tricky to adjust. If top speed is too high reverse speed suffers. The eccentrics adjustments are the key for a no creep neutral. I cant tell you how much time ive spent adjusting everything.

Wrong blade to cut metal

I got this on clearance last week. I paid $62.75 and $69.99 for the 5ah battery. Was originally $259. I had a dewalt that went dead and this is 10x better than anything I know of for less than $150. I have sheared a few bolts like they were made out of celery...

the size of vortex available are .080 .095 .105 .120 .130 .155 measure you eyelet and see the biggest you can fit through and that is what you want if your clearing a rainforest with trimmer line - like others have mentioned you can always use a brush blade or grass blade

You're trying to use trimmer line to cut down small trees. You need a blade!

...you need a 4.0 ah battery as a minimum for optimal performance,and a 5.0 ah(available at Lowes) is even better for that gun...you doing yourself and the gun an injustice!!

...get rid of the unesessary adapters and the gun will work much better!

how much break away torque does it produce?i bought a 18v Milwaukee m18 2662-22. it has a brushed motor that produces 640ftlbs of break away torque and 450 foward torque. it came with 2 red lithium xc batteries, a dual 12/18v charger and the nice blow molded case all for 250$ brandnew. best deal i could find anywhere. That was a year ago and still cant find a better deal for it. ive only seen used ones on Amazon for close to this price. The gun is a beast.

Why do you keep saying impact driver when you clearly are using and impact wrench? Also, your statement about not needing an impact driver and an impact wrench makes no sense. They are used for two totally different things.

I have both, LOVE the 1/2", but the 3/8" is nice for smaller jobs when you don't need 650fp. I occasionally work on my own vehicles, and it works great.
