    does neem oil work on killing the eggs?

    • @northwestmichiganinvasives9114
      @northwestmichiganinvasives9114 3 года назад

      The entire tree should be treated, not just the eggs, and neem oil is not recommended. If you think you have HWA, please contact your local conservation district so proper action can be taken. Thanks so much!

    can i spray somethig on the white eggs to kill them?

      Hello, there are treatment options available (for the entire tree, not just the eggs) but they should be done by a professional who is well-versed in this specific invasive species. If you think you have HWA, please notify your local conservation district so proper action can be taken. Thanks for your interest!

    Is Multiflora Rose commonly referred to as "Briar Bushes" or Briar thickets ? or do they usually grow spread out ? Thanks for any info.

    • @northwestmichiganinvasives9114
      @northwestmichiganinvasives9114 3 года назад

      They can sometimes be referred to as that, yes. Often however, briar bushes are raspberries or blackberries. When multiflora rose grows and starts to take over, it can definitely spread out and seem like it's taking over an entire understory. Here's a good link with more information and a lot of photos: www.invasiveplantatlas.org/subject.html?sub=3071

    Ok, and I would love to see how you going to tackle the removal , any videos about that? Also as it takes over native plants that the birds use ,obviously herbicides are not used in the process.

      We will be posting various removal videos in the coming months depicting both chemical and mechanical methods.
