@Alv Leicester life, can you please tell me what the make and model of your handheld crossbow is (and maybe where to find an owner's manual?) I have the same one still in the box and am trying to figure out how to properly and safely assemble. I THINK I've mostly figured it out; but would like to be sure before firing and finding out via a mishap I was wrong. Thank you!

I have the same crossbow I dont know if I am too weak or the crossbow is very hard to cock, and it also have a very stiff trigger.

That's the first thing I did is make some better bolts. Now I want to increase the power to be more than 50lb.

I've made these to out of old arrows and Wooden dowels. They both fly very well. But even better when I make the fletchings out of duck tape. You can cut and shape them the way ya want. Less expensive to an no glue lol

I Just came to the conclusion that this £13 crossbow is basically the steambow compact, minus a magazine, now the steambow costs £2-300 pounds, someone stick a magazine on this and sell it for £50, ideal, 50lb prod aswell instead of the 35lb steambow

I got same results with my Canadian version (under 500 fps) ,can of beans (full) goes straight trough,chicken or Turkey 🦃 should not be a problem unless you are lousy shoot 😂 and I use only iron sights. I love to see people having fun 🤩 it gives us hope for better life and enjoyment of life that we have…One problem,, I always run out of targets…

hi Alv Leicester life. do you still own that bow becuse it looks like the one i brought from a mate from lichfeild archers a couple of years ago. it looks exactly the same. it looks like there is some fading on the top riser limb ,same colour strings. one string tamer and mac sticker on the the side , i think it had the same coulr limb blocks and the bowtech manual has a reign bow srting sticker on it aswell. he said he swaped it for an air rifle and only shot it a couple of times. i brought it but never got round to shooting it due to an injury. i have just made new strings for it and hopfully start shooting it as my main field bow.

Those Bolts look awesome mate, just a thought have you tried the Anglo Arms Aluminium Zombie Bolts? they come with threaded field points, I'm not sure if they are the same size thread as Arrow Heads but might be worth a look. You would only be able to use the 2 bladed broad heads though as the bolts are only 6.5" long. Subbed.
