Interesting Cam Designs. Interesting what different movements can be made with such Cams. 👍
thx, this and so many other of your videos are very useful, especially when I missed a lesson and had to catch up, but didn't know what i was doing
What I need is something that creates a parallel action but in reverse to the body that actuates the linkage. This linkage also needs to not bind vertical movement from the actuating body nor actuate when the actuating body moves vertically.
What is the name of those things for the linkages to move
Omg thanku so much, my brain is mush with all the automata vids I've watched. I just wanted to have a go at making a bird flying and its turned into a complete brain drain. How can something as simple as a bloody crank shaft and levers have me sitting here in total lala land lol. Im an artist, I've built my own home for crying out loud 🤣🤣 lol Strange how something so small and simple can stop me in my tracks..Im 64 yrs old.. My brain hurts lol...🤣😅🥰 Thanks again 😃
hi. thanks
Lol
Lol lol lol lol lol lol
Brilliant! Thank you for sharing
Thank you for posting this. I’m making toys for my grandchildren for Christmas and it really helped. Best wishes.
Thank you very much 😊 This helped me with my dt homework
Great video, covered a lot of ground in a short space of time - thanks!
Your channel has helped me through my confusion so much, thank you so much for helping so many students.

This. This is what RUclips was made for.

I have two linkage problems to solve. I would love to see some cardboard cut out to explain the motion as well as how it locks into place with an extended elbow/fulcrum. Can I post a link to 2 videos where I would like to see how the lever/linkage is demonstrated?
Is this resource also favourable for A Levels Design and Technology 9705 syllabus?
What is meant by Mechanical advantage
Mommy
Yes?
Wow! I just came here from your model making video, the one where you made place with the deck and the pizza box, and it's safe to say, I am impressed! I'm looking into becoming an interior designer. Right now, I'm doing A-levels and was looking for some basic projects I could do to add my portfolio! I am inspired to craft now!! 😆 But I need to do my physics homework 😂😂✨

I can say that I am professional in the use of the sanctity saw but still a lot to learn in the jewelry industry's steps. No best handling with small size things.
Thank you - super helpful.
Would it be possible for you to show how you made your trees for the architecture models
Hi Leon, They are literally made from real twigs and moss from my garden!
@@JimMadeaThing Okayy thanks mate

How long have you had that ring on your thumb?
The join looks like a dog 🙂
I'm an I (48mm) as you know, I like putting it round my finger and testing my luck, wether it will get stuck or not! No maths for me :)
I watched this on school
I watched it on balls

Hello. Your videos are great - did you make them for remote teaching? I wondered if you might be making more as they're really useful! I'm a product design/engineering teacher looking for short practical model making videos and these are perfect. Thank you :)
