This interview has been circulating for a few years, but I found this copy on SoundCloud and it is of much better quality than the versions most people have already heard. This was broadcast by Triple J a few years back and includes an introduction by one of the DJs.

This interview was done the same day as the release of the groundbreaking album, Nevermind and was mainly done to promote a newly-announced all ages show at the Axis Nightclub in Boston (the show the night before was 21 )
Terrible interviewer but still had fun listening because Dave is a likeable guy

I love hearing them talk about books and authors. I belive a lot of people looked at them as dumb or unitelligent becuase of the fact that they were rockstars, however they really were just regular human beings who were of normal intelligence. They were probablly a lot wiser than us too.

I'm surprised the interviewer deleted the interview. It probably didn't go at all how she imagined but this is one of the more animated and energetic interviews I've heard. They sounded to be in good spirits and a bit hyper but also bored.
Excellent explanation of Why Go lyrics. This crap happened to me as an adult. Dr. was manipulating Medicare to keep me in a facility. All your rights are taken away. It's absolutely horrifying when you realize that no one is on your side but you and that you have to defend yourself from lies from doctors, nurses and social workers who are all in on the insurance game. Our mental health care system sucks.
