Enemy Tanks approaching 😂👍
I always say you can't beat 60s 70s action man. Now I'm starting to collect them
Had that toy until gave it away with the rest of action man boat cannon and my first action man in the early 2000s. I could kick myself wish still had them. Had I known they'd be collectables I wouldn't have
Excellent video. I've recently bought the hull of an old Scorpion. I've got new axles and the wheels/starlocks attached. It rolls brilliantly. Next issue is tracks. Any idea about where I could pick up a repro set? Or is it a case of just waiting for a set on ebay?
👍😊 GOD IAM 10 AGAIN ✊ ACTION MAN THE GREATEST HERO OF THEM ALL👍👍
A great discussion. Legends, the lot of them
Well done, youve inspired me to do up my old scorpion tank, quick question, im missing the aerials, where can you get new ones?
Great that you’re inspired to repair your tank. We got the aerials from Vaman parts on eBay.
@@GeekForce thanks
Wonder if you can get material flags instead of sticker flags. There collectables now not toys to play with. Shame they don't make action man figures now. Just coz óf Star Wars toys. And you could add to the collection. Bring them back to our toy stores. That talkie eagle eye action man is the one I bought earlier on this year except he doesn't have the binoculars. Though not to keen on the trousers. I like to get the 1970s doll I had as a kid
Material flags would be so much better. They would be possible to make using photoshop and printing onto the material stickers.
I had this and had it for number of years after I growed up, as well as action man cannon and boat as the first action man doll. I gave them away late 90's early 2000's. I could kick myself now, as they are collectables. Wish still had them. My action man doll had I still had him would be the glass cabinet now. Ever since I been wanting to get my hands on a doll. Some months back I bought the talking commander of 1982 which is unboxed and in the cabinet. Hope to get another doll
Great restoration
Thank you.
These are cool figures, but they weren't better than Kenner Super Powers figures. I suppose if a kid prefers Marvel over DC they would rather have Marvel characters, but Kenner put more into making the Super Powers figures. Unique molds were made to create each figure, the accessories were unique to each figure, they gave capes to those who needed capes, and each figure had an action gimmick. The action gimmick wasn't the best thing ever, but for the time it was great!
Great review. They look like cool figures. And the trick with opening them like I do is you cut the bubble. So the bit that's stuck to the card is left on the card.
Now that I have all the figures minus Electro, I will need to find the vehicles and playset (just have the Turbo copter) I love this line. My favorite figure is the Hobgoblin, still have him with his complete cape and glider. And that classical Spider-Man. I wanted him so much but we couldn’t find him. My mother had to go to Paris to find him. Was so happy this day
I have them all
Wow these are well cool I have Two Virgil and Alan can’t wait to get them all 😂
Good review. Like many figure lines it seemed I had more of them than I actually had (I think I only ever bought Doctor Doom , Kang and the Doom Cycle). The Kenner Super Power line was done better and I liked the action power gimmick (although it makes it harder to find ones that still work properly now and they are way more expensive then Mattel's Secret War line). However , I was much more of a Marvel fan than a DC fan and remember following all 12 issues of the Secret Wars comic. One of the weird things about the Secret War line was that after the first wave of figures most of the other figures were characters that were not even in the Secret War comics (Baron Zemo , Hobgoblin...etc). It's good to see these figures get some love, because they were interesting for Marvel fans in the days before highly detailed figures.
If I recall correctly, the fan's suggestion was that the new Spiderwoman's costume which had featured in Secret Wars, be used for Spiderman because it looked so good.
As a Brit, I can say I saw Super Powers in a local toy store. I can't remember which ones were on the pegs, but I got Superman, Batman and Robin... I think for Christmas '83 or '84. I only ever got Wolverine from Secret Wars. Super Powers looked nice, and the mini comics were a nice touch, but I hated the action gimmick. Secret Wars was ok, but I never understood the shields, and the 'foot forward' buck was annoying.
84
Super powers n secret wars were there own unique blend of trying to be different...I'm with you on the foot thing too...
Awesome video, good luck with The Incredible Adventures Of Duck Boy 😊
Interesting interview. Thanks for sharing.

Very cool toys. I never had any of these.
Are you tempted to get some? Relatively easy to pick up still.
Can tell right off the top you guys choose great photos, have high quality videos and a killer toy collection. I loved this line. It'll probably be what I collect after I finish up with the few lines I'm on now. The shields were so cool, and the style of these guys is awesome, vintage toys are really their own classic art.
Thank you for the kind words! Which toy lines are you collecting? Secret Wars are still pretty easy to pick up.
G.I. Joe, Ninja Turtles, ECW mainly right now, I never bump into any Captain Planet. Around where I live it's surprisingly slim pickings most of the time especially for a half decent price. I am pretty far along with WCW, WWF, TNA, ToyBiz from the 90s, Thundercats, vintage games and Transformers...can never get enough vintage toys though!
Please share any collections on our Facebook or Twitter accounts. We will share them and see if anyone we know is selling the bits you are looking for.
I had that iron man but never liked the shield Great video guys
Darren's Toy channel thank you for the feedback. We've subscribed to you.
Geek Force thanks guys Toy Polloi sent me to your channel
That's a great toy line. Not one I ever collected. Very interesting. Cheers
Thank you. Pleased that you enjoyed it. We love this particular line. Just a few pieces missing in the collection.
Very cool interview. He's got lots of great stories to tell.
I did like the visual aspect of The Neon Demon but found it a little too arch and airy to fulfil. I do like NWR though, especially his early work.
Thanks for the shout out, bro.
