Very well researched concerning the gianduiotti, I've tried them all and Appendino and Castagna are my favourites! They are also very good value for money. Peyrano and Gobino are also excellent, but very pricey for what you get.
Hi @brianjager3245! Thank you for watching! 💛 Tt sounds like you are a true gianduiotti expert! Appendino and Castagna are indeed fantastic choices, offering both quality and value. Peyrano and Gobino are definitely on the premium side, but their craftsmanship is undeniable. Turin - and Piedmont in general - really is a paradise for chocolate lovers. Do you have a favorite spot in the city where you can buy them?
Oat cakes are NOT what you serve haggis with 😂😂😂 that's like saying the most common thing to serve cheese on is the skin of a mango.
Hi @MrHighRaw! 😂 Fair point! Oatcakes might not be the traditional side for haggis-that honor usually goes to neeps and tatties. However, some modern twists do pair haggis with oatcakes as an appetizer or canapé-style dish. That said, we will stick to the classics next time. Thanks for the laugh and for watching! 💛
sink tear
Hi @NEWKS_HOT_SAUCE! Not entirely sure what you mean by "sink tear," but if there is something specific you would like to share or discuss about the video, let us know. Thanks for stopping by! 😊
@@towntraveltips the voiceover is pronouncing Cinque Terre as 'Sink Tear'. Maybe it's AI or something.
@@towntraveltips you're voiceover artist pronounces Cinque Terre as 'Sink Tear' which I found to be pretty funny. I'm assuming it's AI.

Anyone that recommends capsule hotels as "an affordable place to stay in japan" is not to be trusted. I actually started questioning the whole video after that.
Hi @Panda_Roll! Thanks for sharing your perspective. Capsule hotels in well-known or central locations, especially in cities like Tokyo or Osaka, can often cost around 8,000-12,000 yen per night ($55-$80). These are typically the more "famous" or premium options with added amenities. However, there are also smaller, less famous capsule hotels or hostel-style capsule accommodations that can range from 2,500 to 5,000 yen per night ($17-$35), offering a more budget-friendly experience. They might not have the sleek designs or extra perks, but they still provide a unique and practical stay for solo travelers. Budget accommodation in Japan varies greatly depending on timing, location, and type of stay, but with some research, affordable options are definitely out there. We hope the rest of the video still offered some helpful insights. Safe travels and thank you for watching! 💛
The intro is complete BS!! Lyon airport serves 120 destinations and the TGV between Paris and Lyon was inaugurated in 1981! So saying that Lyon is not connected to major cities and had a TGV line just opened is utterly wrong.
Hi @JohnSmith-yw7tg! Thank you for watching 💛. You are absolutely right-Lyon has been well-connected for decades with its airport serving many international destinations and the TGV line linking it efficiently to Paris since very long time. What we aimed to highlight is that, despite these connections, Lyon has only more recently gained significant attention on the global tourism scene compared to cities like Paris or Nice. We appreciate your feedback and hope you still found the video enjoyable.
I visited Nara, and it was a unique experience! Walking through Nara Park, surrounded by free-roaming deer, felt almost surreal. Just a heads-up: the park does have a bit of a 'natural' smell, thanks to the deer being… well, everywhere! 😅Feeding them special crackers and watching them bow politely in return was one of the highlights of my trip!
I completely agree, visiting Nara was such a surreal experience for me too! Walking through Nara Park surrounded by the deer felt magical, even with that ‘natural’ smell you mentioned! Feeding them crackers and seeing them bow in return was definitely one of my trip highlights as well. Did you have a favorite part of your visit?
Hi @vittoriabilello9987! It is so nice to hear you had a similar experience in Nara. Honestly, one of our favorite parts was seeing how cheeky the deer can get when they know you have crackers-they are not shy about coming up to you! 😄 Also, Todai-ji Temple was super cool, especially standing before the giant Buddha statue. What about you? Was there a moment that stood out the most during your visit?
Hi @blogvideogiochi! You summed it up perfectly-Nara Park is such a surreal experience, but let’s be honest, the “natural” smell can be quite noticeable at times. 😄 Let’s just say the deer definitely leave their mark! Still, feeding them crackers and seeing them bow makes it all worth it. Such a memorable experience! Thank you for watching! 💛
@@towntraveltips Nara was actually a day trip from Kyoto for me, and while the deer and Todai-ji were incredible, I have to say Kyoto stole my heart. Walking through the Arashiyama Bamboo Grove felt like stepping into another world, and exploring the Fushimi Inari Shrine with its endless red torii gates was unforgettable. Kyoto’s mix of history, culture, and food made it such a special place.
Hi @vittoriabilello9987! Kyoto truly is a city like no other, and it is easy to see why it stole your heart. It is such a beautiful mix of history, culture, and stunning scenery. Hi @bludocc1! We get it-covering Paris, Milan, and Florence in just seven days is definitely an ambitious itinerary. While it might feel a bit like a whirlwind, some travelers prefer a fast-paced adventure to see as much as possible in a short time. It is all about finding the travel style that works for you. Thanks for sharing your thoughts, and happy travels!
I’m planning a trip for early 2026! I’ll definitely keep these spots in mind!
Hi @Kokosthename! Thank you for watching! 💛 That is so exciting-early 2026 will be here before you know it! Japan is an incredible destination, and we are so glad these tips could help with your planning. If you have any questions as your trip gets closer, feel free to ask. Happy planning! 🇯🇵✨
I really liked Kanazawa. I went in winter but would like to go when it is prettier. Japan has a lot to see.
Hi @calvincoolidge1207 and thank you for watching! 💛 Kanazawa is such a beautiful city, and visiting in winter must have been a unique experience. Spring and autumn are especially stunning there, with the cherry blossoms or vibrant foliage adding so much charm. You are absolutely right-Japan has an endless list of incredible places to explore. We hope you get to visit Kanazawa again in a different season. Safe travels! 🇯🇵🍁🌸
@@towntraveltips Winter was nice in the fact it was so quiet. At night, some historic areas were deserted and I was able to get some great photos. Takayama and Shirakawa were also neat places and were on my must see list for Japan in winter. I really wanted to see the unique homes in the snow at the historic villages. I would like to also experience those places in a different season as well.
How much going to SkyDeck?
Hi @BakerCupu! The ticket price for the SkyDeck at Bitexco Financial Tower usually ranges between 200,000-250,000 VND (around 8-10 USD) per person. Prices might vary slightly depending on promotions or time of visit. It is definitely worth it for the stunning views of Ho Chi Minh City. Enjoy your visit and thank you for watching! 💛
Very informative. Thank you from the UK!
Hi @joannajennings3899! Thank you for watching! 💛 We are glad you found the video informative. Wishing you wonderful travels-maybe Frankfurt will be on your itinerary soon! 🇩🇪✈️
@towntraveltips I hope so! My nephew lives there, so it was nice to get a feel of the place. Are you planning a piece on Cologne? My lovely daughter, 13, went there with school last year and thought it was marvelous.
Hi @joannajennings3899! That is wonderful-having family in Frankfurt is such a great reason to visit! As for Cologne, it is definitely on our radar! Your daughter is right, it is a marvelous city, with its stunning cathedral and charming old town. We will make sure to cover it soon. Thank you for sharing, happy new year and wish many travels in 2025 to you and your family! 💛

Nice narration, thanks 👍👍. Yes there's plenty of variety of local, Malaysian, and international cuisines
Hi @LangkawiChannel! Thank you so much for the kind words 👍👍. You are absolutely right-Langkawi offers an incredible variety of local, Malaysian, and international cuisines. There is always something delicious to try around every corner. Glad you enjoyed the video! 😊🍜
Hello! I am going with my 2 young children. I am an woman. Is it safe? I would like to get a tour to go to Summer palace. Is safe get Didi there? Thanks
Hi @line0520! Thank you for watching! 💛 Beijing is generally very safe for solo female travelers and families, even with young children. China has a strong focus on public safety, and violent crime against tourists is extremely rare. As always, it is good to take the usual precautions, like watching your belongings in crowded areas. For visiting the Summer Palace, booking a guided tour is a great option for convenience and learning about its rich history. If you prefer more flexibility, DiDi (China's version of Uber) is widely used, safe, and reliable. Just make sure to use the official app, verify the driver’s details, and follow your route on the map for peace of mind. Public transport, like the Beijing metro, is also safe, affordable, and well-maintained-though it can get crowded, especially during rush hours. Overall, you will find China to be very welcoming, with locals often happy to help. Enjoy your time at the Summer Palace and have a wonderful trip! 😊
🎉 Nice video! I hope in the future, my Travel Channel can grow as yours. GREAT work my friend 😎

Bilbao is gorgeous too! Thank you for watching! 💛
We always put the brain in as well
Hi @lumberfox9176! That is an interesting addition! Traditional haggis recipes do vary by region and family, and it is amazing how these little twists keep the dish so unique. Thanks for sharing your version-Scotland’s food culture truly has so much history and variety!
ALWAYS wanted to try it, sounds so good

A very safe selection - certainly not the best ten french cheeses. Though these will be delicious. But there are better out there.
Hi @malthuswasright! Thank you for watching! 💛 We agree that this list focuses on popular and widely loved options, but France’s cheese selection is so vast that there are countless other incredible choices. For example, lesser-known gems like Salers, Saint-Nectaire, or Langres are absolutely worth exploring if you are diving deeper into French cheeses. We hope this list serves as a great starting point for cheese lovers to begin their journey through France’s rich cheese culture. What are some of your favorites?
Mashed turnips (neeps) and mashed potatoes (tatties). I don't think theres any lungbin in since the 2010's or longer
Hi @neale3871! You are absolutely right-haggis is traditionally served with neeps and tatties, and it is such a classic pairing! As for the lungs, you are correct that regulations have changed over the years, especially in some countries, so modern haggis recipes often leave them out. It is always interesting to see how traditions evolve. Thank you for watching! 💛
Thank you for this wonderful video. We have traveled extensively in Asia. Shang-hi, Hong Kong, Beijing, Bangkok and Singapore. Thanks to this video I now know I can skip Manila.
Hi @bethearl8686! Thank you for watching! 💛 It is true that Manila can be polarizing-it is a city that often takes time to appreciate fully. While it may not offer the immediate appeal of some other Asian cities, it has its own charm, from vibrant local markets to historic sites like Intramuros. That said, the Philippines as a whole is a fantastic country to visit, with breathtaking natural beauty, warm and welcoming people, and incredible destinations like Palawan, Cebu, and Siargao. Manila can still be a great starting point to experience this amazing country!
@@towntraveltips Thank you so much for responding to my comment. Your video was very entertaining and well thought out. It is sad Manila hasn't produced any wondrous landmark architecture. Even Jakarta (absolutely filthy poor slum-ridden city) has the Independence monument and Istiqlal Mosque. But fear not. We are scheduling Palawan, Bohol and Coron. Cebu looked pretty built up so we will avoid that.
@@bethearl8686 Your itinerary sounds fantastic! Palawan, Bohol, and Coron are absolutely breathtaking choices, and they showcase the Philippines’ natural beauty at its best. We hope you have an unforgettable trip & enjoy every moment!

Please can you recommended the hotel and transportation
Hi @lusantysa8778! For first-time visitors, we recommend staying in areas like The Bund, People’s Square, or Jing’an. These neighborhoods are centrally located and make it easy to explore the main sights, like the Yu Garden, Nanjing Road, and the Bund waterfront. For transportation, Shanghai’s metro is efficient and affordable, with English signs, so it is easy to get around. Taxis and ride-hailing apps like DiDi are also widely available, though the metro is usually the fastest option in busy areas. We hope this helps, and enjoy your stay in Shanghai! Let us know if you have any questions! 💛
I’m really impressed with the writing in this video essay. UnfortunateIy, I know Manila enough to say it’s highly romanticized and imaginative. I give 5 stars for creative writing.
Hi @Ncemj2000! Thank you for the compliment (we think)! We may have leaned into Manila’s charm a bit, but we aimed to capture what makes it unique. Glad you enjoyed the video and thanks for watching! 💛
Excellent images with the spoken descriptions. How long did you spend in Singapore?
Hi @tennixisetennismeetsfitnes4369! Thank you so much! We spent about 10 days in Singapore, which gave us time to explore beyond the main sights. We loved discovering the city’s hidden gems, from quiet green spaces like the Southern Ridges to amazing local hawker stalls off the beaten path. 💛
This video is truly informative ! However do you think I can enjoy being a solo & silent traveler?
Hi @Mahdul! We are so glad you found the video helpful! And yes, Prague is perfect for solo and quiet travelers like you. You will have plenty of peaceful spots to explore, from wandering the charming streets to relaxing by the Vltava River. It is a beautiful city to enjoy at your own pace. We hope you have an amazing time soaking in all that Prague has to offer and let us know if you have any questions! 💛
@@towntraveltips thank you so much for your reply and adding a nice suggestions. I would add Vitava River in my check list 🙂
You can do far better cheese wise than Camembert and Emmenthal (which is technically Swiss, as the spelling indicates). A visit to Les Halles will show just how much better you can do.
Hi @malthuswasright! You are absolutely right: Camembert and Emmental are just the basics, and Lyon has far richer cheese options to explore. Les Halles is the perfect place to dive into the region’s incredible cheeses, like Saint-Marcellin and Bleu de Bresse. Thank you for pointing that out and for watching! 💛 Do you have a favorite cheese from Lyon?
@@towntraveltips St Felicien and Arome Lyonnais
Excellent choices! Both are fantastic local picks, and we have a soft spot for Saint Félicien. With its creamy texture and slightly tangy flavor, it is incredibly satisfying on a fresh baguette! 🧀
Robin Trower wrote the song that made this known to the world. I always wanted to see it. Thanks
Hi @cjbrogdon2! Robin Trower’s song definitely brought the Bridge of Sighs into the spotlight for many people. We are glad this video brought you a (little) step closer to seeing it. Thanks for watching! 💛
This video is a waste of time.If you only have two days to see Dubrovnik don't bother. Cruise ship stops are even worse..
Hi @blakeclarke8765! Dubrovnik can definitely feel overwhelming in a short timeframe, especially during cruise ship season when the crowds peak. That said, two days can still offer a meaningful experience if you focus on a few key highlights, like exploring the old city walls early in the morning or visiting the quieter Lovrijenac Fortress for great views away from the crowds. For some, a short visit is better than missing out on Dubrovnik altogether! We appreciate your feedback and hope the video provides value for those with limited time! 💛

Plin are not square agnolotti...
Hi @pincopallino3358! Thanks for catching that! You’re absolutely right - plin are typically small, pinched ravioli, not square agnolotti. We will keep that in mind for accuracy in the future. Appreciate the feedback!
They are no just free range they are feed on milk and corn the last few weeks of life well kept inside. Its the fed the last few weeks that make the bird taste so difficult and give them a marbled meat.

Dubrovnik is totally overrated …and the crowds…forget it Split and 4 other towns in Croatia are better
Hi @garyroberts3859! Dubrovnik can definitely get crowded, especially during peak season. Split and other towns like Zadar, Trogir, and Rovinj are great alternatives with their own charm. Croatia has so much to offer beyond just one city! Thank you for watching! 💛
@@towntraveltips Dubrovnik is my 8th town in Croatia in this 5 week trip . TROGIR to go , then fly back to Australia .. The only thing Dubrovnik has going for it is the wall. The old town itself isn’t as interesting as several other towns I’ve seen.
