Oooohhhh I think you may like a trick that I use for my personal alchohol marker illustrations, I use nice sheet of paper ( I love smooth Swedish watercolor paper for everything lol, not very heavy but it is just the right amount of thicknesses) and I prime the paper before with a white/gold crayon (I use beeswax block crayons) in both sides,it makes the paper waxy and it seem to work really well as an alcohol marker primer! I find it harder to work my markers on cold-press grainy paper, I don’t think they’re really meant to work with them though. Enjoy playing with your mrakers! Your illustration is ADORABLE and Cozy and I love this lil mole doing its thing with its pet worm

umm major tip to triple press the home screen to lock the ipad to trace!! The piece turned out so so cute, watching you pencil the mushrooms was so satisfying! Definitely annoying to not be able to use the markers in sketchbooks but I guess you can always sketch separately and then stick the pages in to accommodate them - worth it to save the more 400 euros on copic markers xD
thank you!! the colour pencil really finished off the piece i feel ! also, all alcohol based markers bleed through paper (unless designed specifically not to like the Ohuhu marker pads) so that includes the very expensive copic markers unfortunately 😂

I love alcohol markers :)) 💖✨ so much fun! I was gifted copic markers which are absolute insane quality but also for an insane (!) price.. So these really look like a good alternative for the future! ✨ thank you for your review, very helpful
that’s a very nice gift to receive ! i actually haven’t tried copic markers myself ! i think having that comparison would’ve helped a bit with reviewing these but either way i really like them 🥰

Be careful when cutting towards yourself with one of those carving tools!! You’ll carve yourself if you’re not careful lol
